[gelöst] Netz erst nach "rcnetwork restart" ?!

Hallo LC-Community,

nachdem ich jetzt schon das halbe Internet und den LC leider erfolglos durchsucht habe, muss ich einen neuen Fred erstellen. Irgendwann nach einem OnlineUpdate wollte mein Netzwerk nicht mehr so richtig: um eine Internetverbindung zu bekommen muss ich immer - nach jedem Bootvorgang - ein rcnetwork restart absetzen... :irre: :???:
Die Netzwerk-Hardware (LAN/wLAN) wird problemlos erkannt, aber wie gesagt, erst nach rcnetwork restart funktioniert sie auch richtig, vorher gibt's kein ping, kein pong, kein garnix!

Kann mir bitte jemand helfen, diesen Murks zu lösen, bevor ich mit dem nächsten Problem, was davon abhängig ist, ankomme: das ganze Netzwerk soll schließlich über DHCP und knetworkmanager laufen, was aber schon zweimal nicht geht. DHCP ja, knetworkmanager nein (stürtzt beim Erstellen einer Verbindung regelmässig ab...) auch das ist :irre:

Wenn du den NetworkManager nutzen willst, dann stell das in Yast auch dementsprechend ein. Und alle anderen Einstellungen bzgl. der Netzwerke aus Yast entfernen. Dann sollte das auch funtionieren. Netzwerkeinstellungen per Yast UND Networkmanager verträgt sich nicht!

Moin, lOtz!

Ich habe diese Anleitung schon durchgearbeitet, aber es funktioniert trotz Entfernen und Deaktivieren des Dienstes "network" in den Runleveln 3 & 5 nicht... - natürlich habe ich die Netzwerkkarten nach einem Neustart komplett neu eingerichtet und versucht, das Netzwerk über knetworkmanager neu einzurichten. Knetworkmanager stürtzt beim Klick auf Verbinden sofort ab... Das ist momentan aber nicht das Thema, ich werde es erst weiter versuchen, wenn die grundlegenden Netzwerk-Einstellungen funktionieren:

Netzwerk soll ohne Umwege / Workarounds nach dem Booten zur Verfügung stehen. Das ist verdammt wichtig, da auch noch andere Familienmitglieder an dem PC arbeiten... und die wissen halt nicht, was zu tun ist... ich im Moment auch nicht :eek:ps:

Naja, anhand der Skriptausgabe sieht man dass du die Netzwerkkarten so eingerichtet hast, dass sie nicht mit dem NetworkManager eingerichtet werden sollen. Da wundert es mich auch nicht wenn das nicht geht. Du musst schon wissen ob du jetzt klassisch oder per NetworkManager "ins Netz" willst. Vorher rumzupfriemeln macht doppelt Arbeit.

Den Dienst Network nicht aus den Runleveln entfernen, weil da auch der Networkmanager gestartet wird. Bei Netzwerkkarten (kein WLAN) empfehle ich dir das ganze mit der traditionellen Methode ifup zu machen statt mit dem Networkmanager. Der Networkmanager ist für das WLAN zu gebrauchen, sonst eher weniger.

Ja, ich weiß, was ich will: dhcp und networkmanager, es geht aber nicht, was ich ja bereits im ersten Posting geschrieben habe: kNetworkmanager stürtzt beim Verbinden reproduzierbar ab. Immer. Ausnahmslos. Deshalb habe ich wieder auf die klassische Methode mit ifup umgestellt und statische IPs vergeben, was ohne Probleme funktioniert.

Das Problem ist doch jenes: das Netzwerk startet grundsätzlich nicht beim Hochfahren, obwohl auto für WLAN und ifplugd für LAN eingerichtet ist, sondern erst nach Absetzen des Befehls rcnetwork restart.

Es macht doch an diesem Punkt keinen Sinn, wenn das Netzwerk an sich schon nicht richtig funktioniert, zusätzlich noch mit dem Networkmanager herumzufummeln, oder sehe ich das falsch!?

Den Dienst habe ich nach Einrichten der Netzwerkkarten selbstverständlich re-aktiviert. Ja, ich möchte das Ganze gerne mit kNetworkmanager erledigen, da ich mich eher über WLAN als über LAN verbinde. Aber es geht halt nicht so, wie ich es mir vorstelle. Das Netzwerk an sich geht ja, nach dem Booten aber erst nach Absetzen von rcnetwork restart... :???:
 
Vielleicht ist was zu finden (eine Fehlermeldungen) unter YaST > Andere > Systemprotokoll anzeigen > /var/log/messages

Jetzt habe ich zwischenzeitlich folgende Konfiguration ausprobiert: dhcp und ifup-Methode. Selbes Spiel, selbes Problem, will heißen: eine DHCP-Anfrage läuft ins Leere, da noch keine Netzwerkkarte aktiv scheint, erst nach einem rcnetwork restart bekommt der Rechner eine IP zugewiesen...

Für die Logfile-Analyzer unter Euch, ich kann da nur bedingt etwas herauslesen, gibt's hier mal etwas Futter, vielleicht kann da jemand etwas verdächtiges finden.


PS: Irgendwie raff' ich's grad nicht:
Datei-Upload schlägt fehl: Die Dateierweiterung txt ist nicht erlaubt.
Poste ich den ganzen Datei-Inhalt in diesen Beitrag, wird dieser als "Die eingegebene Nachricht ist zu kurz." angemahnt und das Eingabefeld wird geleert...

Die Schnittstelle wlan0 ist wie Du auch vermutet hast ausgeschaltet. Wenn Du dort ein dual System hast (Linux und Windows) dann habe ich was gelesen das Windows versetzt die Karte in ein Tiefschlaf. Ich kann mir aber das nicht erklären. Wie ist das wenn Du die Karte aktivierst und dann machst Neustart (aber in Linux rein)? Ist die Karte dann wieder ausgeschaltet?

Also die Karte ist nicht ausgeschaltet, und ein lsmod | grep iwl sagt mir, dass das Modul bei Starten geladen wurde. Spielt evtl. die Reihenfolge der Bootscripten eine Rolle? Ich wüßte jetzt nicht genau, welches Script noch vor dem Netzwerk-Script gestartet werden sollte, damit beim Netzwerkstart alles reibungslos läuft. Und außerdem gibt's doch auch Abhängikeiten untereinander: de- bzw. re-aktiviere ich einen Dienst, dann ändert SuSE dementsprechend abhängige Dienste auch... :???: also irgendwo scheint auf jeden Fall etwas beim Update "zerschossen" worden zu sein.

offtopic:
Nur noch ein Beispiel, was ich zum Glück gleich bemerkt habe und dementsprechend reagieren konnte: gestern kMail-Update gefahren; das Ende vom Lied:
alle POP3-Filterregeln wurden gelöscht! und popfilters=0 gesetzt,alle anderen Einstellung blieben erhalten. Ein sinnfreies wie unverschämtes Eingreifen in die User-Konfiguration.

Ja, nach dem Booten ist das WLAN hardware-technisch über diesen Schalter schon aktiviert (LED an), ein Betätigen meldet:
iwl3945: Radio Frequency Kill Switch is On: Kill switch must be turned off for wireless networking to work. (LED aus)

Ein erneutes Betätigen aktiviert die LED wieder, es erscheint keine weitere Meldung... das Netzwerk wird dadurch leider auch nicht re-aktivert, es muss mit rcnetwork restart gezündet werden. Vorher hat's ja auch funktioniert. Ohne Schalter, ohne Script. Booten und fertig.

Ich habe nochmal folgende Befehle direkt nach dem Bootvorgang aufgerufen:

Ich erhoffte mir einen Unterschied nach Neustart des Netzwerkes, dem ist aber nicht so, wie man bei 1a/b und 2a/b sehen kann. Punkt 3 ist mehr oder weniger irrelevant, da momentan keine Kabelverbindung besteht. Den einzigen Unterschied gibt's bei 4a/b: es wird eine IP vergeben - nach Netzwerk-Neustart :(

Tritt bei uns auch gelegentlich auf, zum Beispiel hatten wir es oefters, als der Elektriker da war - aus was fuer Gruenden auch immer gibts ein Problem, wenn der DSL-Router zwischendrin mal vom (Strom-)Netz weg war.
Weil der Elektriker, dieses Weichei, naemlich immer die Sicherungen rausgedreht hat vor der Arbeit :D

Hab mir ein Script erstellt und als Shortcut auf dem Desktop abgelegt, welches per Mausklich den rcnetwork restart durchfuehrt :D

Weil der Elektriker, dieses Weichei, naemlich immer die Sicherungen rausgedreht hat vor der Arbeit :D

Hab mir ein Script erstellt und als Shortcut auf dem Desktop abgelegt, welches per Mausklich den rcnetwork restart durchfuehrt :D

Hallo Wolfi,

ich habe mir auch eine Verknüpfung auf den Desktop gelegt, um das Netzwerk per "One-Click" neuzustarten... das ist aber keine Dauerlösung. Wie schon geschrieben, es hat ja funktioniert, bis... nach einem Update. Seitdem funktioniert das Netzwerk nur noch manuell. Ich habe auch schon mit dem Router gespielt. Aus, warten, wieder an, sofort Laptop hochgefahren. Kein Unterschied...

Bei uns scheints ja am Router und einer unterbrochenen 230V-AC-Zufuhr bei demselben zu liegen, auch wenn ich den Zusammenhang nicht ganz kapiere.
Und es passiert ja nur selten ;) -> Deswegen kann ich meinen Ehrgeiz bezueglich einer endgueltigen Loesung im Zaum halten :D
Uebrigens habe ich das mit 10.3, keine Ahnung was passieren wuerde wenn man z. B. 11.0 verwendet. Dieses Update habe ich den 'ollen Kisten' bei uns nicht angetan :/
Auf meinem ganz neuen (und bereits defekten, Top-Qualitaet, von LG!! :down: ) Firmenlaptop habe (hatte :( ) ich openSUSE 11.0 und das ist mit Netzwerknutzung irgendwie 'flexibler'. Will sagen dort akzeptiert z. B. auch der openSUSE-Updater das UMTS-Modem als Weg ins Internet und nicht nur die LAN-Anbindung wie es in 10.3 auf meinem alten Laptop der Fall ist (jeweils bei UMTSmon = 0.8.90).

Oben
