[gelöst] Video anschauen unter 11.3 mit KDE 4.5

Hi,

seit dem Update auf 11.3 habe ich ein paar Probleme mit DVD-Video abspielen. Früher unter KDE3 habe ich kaffeine benutzt und war damit sehr zufrieden. Das wäre mir die liebste Lösung, bin aber auch für andere Lösungen offen. Hier die Symptome:

Dolphin:
Video Vorschau funktioniert mit Bild und Ton

xine:
Bild funktioniert, Ton nicht.

Mplayer:
Bild und Ton funktioniert, aber wenn ich eine DVD starte dann kommt nicht das Hauptmenü sondern es fängt der erste Titel an zu spielen. Ich kann zwar dann auf Titel 9 oder so springen, aber woher soll ich wissen was Titel 9 ist, das Menu hätte sprechende Namen dazu. Nächstes Problem ist wenn ich den Audio Track umstelle springt die DVD (oder nur der Titel, müsste ich mal prüfen) wieder an den Anfang.

Kaffeine:
segmentation fault sobald ich den Start Button drücke, egal ob DVD oder mpg File. "Langtext" siehe unten.

Codecs sollten wohl alle da sein da es im Prinzip ja läuft.... Hat jemand eine Idee?

Mach mal ein Update von kaffeine auf die Version 1.1. Die läuft bei mir prima.

Ansonsten kann man, ohne die von dir verwendeten Programmversionen und Installationsquellen zu kennen eigentlich nur ins Blaue hineinraten.

kaffeine 1.1 hat das gleiche Problem. Ich nutze packman als Quelle. Brauchst du sonst noch was an Info?

PS: VLC zeigt nur Schrott an, d.h. weiße sich schnell ändernde buchstaben auf schwarzen Hintergrund.

Dragonplayer habe ich nun auch probiert, mpg file klappt prima. DVD klappt leider nicht. Ich kann soviel ich will auf den Button DVD abspielen drücken da passiert leider nichts. Kennt jemand das Problem?

Was ist das KDE 4.5 Contrib denn für ein Repo, Klaus-Dieter? Das kenn ich gar nicht und in den KDE Paketdepots für OpenSuse finde ich es auch nicht. Deshalb verrmag ich nicht zu beurteilen, ob dein Problem mit der Verwendung dieses Repos zu tun hat. Ich kannn ur so viel sagen, mit den stable Repos für KDE 4.4.4 bzw mit dem factory Repo (KDE 4.5, hab ich auch ausprobiert) funktionierts bei mir mit DVD abspielen.

Zeig mir bitte mal, welche Pakete du für xine, kaffeine installiert hast

Ich vermute, daß dein Kaffeine-Fehler am xine-Plugin liegt. Vielleicht bringt es etwas. die libxine1 upzudaten (neu zu installieren)

Ich hatte ein ähnliches Problem mit Kaffeine (segmentation fault von kaffeine-xbu), allerdings liefen xine & vlc einwandfrei.

Auf die Lösung bin ich nach mehrwöchiger Suche über das ubuntu-forum gekommen:

Ich vermute du hast eine Nvidia Grafikkarte?

Kaffeine benötigt -aus welchem Grund auch immer- die eingeschaltete 3D-Unterstützung, die aber nur mit dem proprietären Nvidia-Grafiktreiber richtig funktioniert.

Nachdem ich den Nvidia-Treiber installiert habe, läuft Kaffeine jetzt einwandfrei.
