[gelöst] Wlan probleme mit Atheros und madwifi

Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass ich eine AR5006EG Karte habe.
Ich hatte am 30.06. die Ausgabe von hwinfo --wlan gespeichert. Da hatte ich allerdings noch Suse 10.3 drauf.

ich kann leider das script collectNWData.sh nicht runterladen, weil ich hier in der Firma an einem Proxy hänge der *.sh blockt.

Hatte noch vergessen zu sagen, dass ich heute auch versucht habe den athk5 zu installieren.
Da kamem beim "make install" ein paar Fehlermeldungen und beim aufruf von dmesg war es glaub ich auch nicht so toll.
Ich kann die Ausgabe von dmesg mal posten. Ich habe sie nicht mit grep gefiltert, weil ich nicht genau weiß was alles wichtig ist.

Da werden zwei Treiber geladen und der eine (ath5k) ist wohl auch noch in einer nicht zum Kernel passenden Version. Also für einen entscheiden.
 
Ich habe mal weiter gelesen und werde heute abend, wenn ich zu hause bin, den athk5 blacklisten.
Mal sehen ob das was bringt.
Werde dann morgen meine, hoffentlich positiven, Ergebnisse posten.

Der Treiber ist auch 'krumm', scheint mir: mac80211
Mal bitte schauen, welche kmp da bei welchem Kernel installiert sind.

Ich bin jetzt leider im Büro und kann die Infos nicht liefern.
Aber ich prüf das heute und poste das Ergebnis morgen.

Mit mac80211 scheint mir auch was nicht zu stimmen.
Beim installieren kam so'ne meldung ich soll "CONFIG_NETDEVICES_MULTIQUEUE" enablen.
Weiß aber nicht wo. Wahrscheinlich irgendwo in /etc/sysconfig/network

Aber wenn ich den athk5 blackliste und wieder unloade (modprobe -r athk5) brauch ich doch mac80211 nicht mehr, oder?

Blacklisten reicht, um den Rest mach Dir mal keine Gedanken, das erledigt das System automatisch und meistens besser als der User.

Um Probleme mit udev zu vermeiden, ist es am einfachsten zusätzlich die Datei /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules zu verschieben/löschen und dann die Kiste nach Installation des passenden "neuen" madwifi-kmp-*Flavor* neu zu starten.
