SUSE 11 WLAN mit DLINK DWL-G510 Rev.C2

Hallo erst einmal,

Gleich ein Geständniss vorweg, <<< LINUX Frischling :???:

Also der Stand immo:
SUSE 11 installiert (einmal komplett)
nach erfolgreicher Installation hab ich mich gleich mal ans WLAN rangewagt,
nach etlichen Fehlversuchen nachlesen und forschen, das System zum x mal platt gemacht und wieder neu installiert.
- Danach gleich komplett aktuallisiert (über LAN zum 2. Rechner was auf Anhieb super klappte)
- RaLink Treiber gezogen
- SSID, WPAPSK etc. in die RT61STA.dat eingetragen
- dann ging ums "maken"
- Fehler CSFLAGS bla bla (habs vergessen was genau da stand)
- bissel nachgelesen und in der Makefile.6 CSFLAGS auf EXTRA_CSFLAGS geändert
- lief dann Fehlerfrei durch
- danach war ra0 unter ifconfig immer noch nicht sichtbar
- also ifconfig ra0 up
- ra0 war da :schockiert:

Voll motiviert gleich weiter gemacht:
- iwlist ra0 scan, Ergebniss der AP ist sichtbar zeigt mir SSID, WPA und Sendemöglichtkeiten an.
- Nun zum Problem, ich kann mich nicht auf denn AP connecten, die von mir gemachten Angeben zum AP und WPA scheint er völlig zu ignorieren.
- beim Versuch SSID von Hand nachzutragen (mittels iwconfig ra0 essid meinroutername) bringt er mir als Fehler folgendes: !Box bla bla.
- Scheinbar mag er nicht das der AP FRITZ!Box etc heißt.

sauberes Sys -> Ralink Treiber geladen und nach HowTo des WLAN-Wiki vorgegangen.

Du bist doch im Netz. Den Test natürlich OHNE Kabel ausführen.
Ich würde auch mal die Karte im yast löschen und das ganze über den NetworkManager laufen lassen. Das sollte die Karte nämlihc klaglos mitmachen.

Ist auch eine Meldung von gestern. Vermutlich war da die Firmware noch nicht installiert. Mittlerweile ist sie das. Die Karte ist ja auch da und funkt durch die Gegend. Da sind lediglich die Einstellungen für das Netzwerk noch 'krumm'.

Ich habe zwar keine große Ahnung von Wlan, aber müsste die Karte nicht schon direkt vom Kernel unterstützt werden?

würde ich sagen der Treiber ist schon im Kernel integriert oder liege ich da falsch?
Dazu gibt es das passende Firmwarepaket ralink-firmware-1.0-25.1.noarch.rpm im non-OSS Repo.

Richtig, der Treiber ist im Kernel. Deswegen war das handische kompilieren auch bestenfalls unnötig.

gut also einmal umsonst kompiliert, naja

Im Yast glaube ich brauch ich nix zu löschen dort hab ich nix eingestellt,
wärend der Installation war´s LAN Kabel drin, und Verbindung zum 2. Netz war sofort da. War begeistert :schockiert:

Über Networkmanager kann ich nix Einstellen denn jedes mal wenn ich dort die Daten des AP und denn PSK eintrage stürzt er zum Schluss hin ab und beendet sich :(

Hi,
wenn ich die Ausgabe des Test-Skript richtig deute, dann hast Du kein wpa_supplicant installiert. Der Netzwerkscan zeigt aber an, das die Fritz-Box WPA-TKIP eingestellt hast. So wirst Du nie eine Verbindung hinbekommen. Du solltest zumindest wpa_supplicant installieren.

Glaube ich blick es einfach net, oder Linux ist zu hoch für mich. :zensur:

Er sieht das Netz hat die Daten aber Connectet ihn nicht,

Der KNetworkmanager hilft auch nicht weiter denn er crashed.

nur nen Tip oder mit nem Schlag auf denn Hinterkopf

Hallllllooooo - noch mal. Das Skript sagt, das die Fritz-Box WPA Verschlüsselt, Du hast aber keinen wpa_supplicant installiert. Daher kannst Du keine Verbindung zu einem Access Point aufnehmen, der WPA-TKIP als Verschlüsselung verwendet....

Guten Morgen,

also das WPA Paket ist installiert.

Aber was mich wirklich gerade noch mehr nervt ist folgender Sachverhalt:

Bei der letzten nächtlichen Installation hatte ich ausversehen F6 gedrückt und dachte mir warum net einfach mal
die vorgeschlagene URL nehmen für Treiberupdate und schauen was passiert.

Ich war nicht schlecht erstaunt als kurze Zeit später ein Pixelbildschirm vor mir erschien.
1. Gedanke oh DOS wie hab ich Dich vermißt.

Jedoch war es ein Auswahlmenü für die SSID, Verschlüssellung des WLAN (also WEP,WPA etc.)
Also gut SSID, WPA ausgewählt, Passphrase eingegeben.
er sprang zurück auf Konsolenart mit der Meldung DHCLIENT ...
Prompt darauf war er mit dem Router verbunden und online, checkte nach Update, sagte keinen neune Updates und machte weiter.
Ich dachte er lief über´s LAN jedoch war dieses ausgesteckt und bei genauerer Betrachtung stand auch WLAN0 da.

:schockiert: :D :???: :roll:

gefreut wie ein Schneekönig.

Doch nachdem er fertig war mit der Installation war nix mehr mit zuper einfach locker verbinden und alles funzt.
kein WLAN mehr :???:
Warum hat er es denn nicht gleich übernommen ?

Und warum ist jetzt das WLAN0 nimmer da ?
ifconfig meldet nur denn lo


ich werde daraus net schlau, zumal er bei der Installation auch noch genau erkannt hat als REV. C2 und nicht wie sonst als B.
denn soweit ich informiert bin ist in der Rev. B ein anderer Chip verbaut

Bitte das skript nochmal laden, ich glaube da sind seit dem letzen Mal noch kleine Änderungen erfolgt.

Also ich fasse noch mal zusammen damit bissel übersichtlicher wird und man dat schliessen kann.

1. SUSE 11 64bit frisch installiert
2. wie von Grothesk gesagt neuen RalinkTreiber über die Updatefunktion geholt (suchen nach Ralink -> 1.0-25.1-noarch von repo-non-oss)
3. Im Yast-Netzwerkeinstellungen alles gelöscht + (ohne dem ging es erst garnet) unter Gobale Optionen auf Benutzergesteuert umstellen (ja da steht wirklich "über KNetworkmanager :zensur: )
4. Einmal neu gestartet und schon hat er mir die Netze (Eth0 + Wlan0) sowie die ereichbaren AP angezeigt.


(ich glaube das Benutzergesteuert war der ausschlaggebende Punkt, warum auch der Knetworkmanager immer wieder gegrasht ist)

Aber jetzt läuft echt zuper. :D
