Hallo,
ich habe mir ein neues Notebook (Schenker FL90 II) gegönnt. Unter OS 11 habe ich nun leider das Problem, dass die o.g. WLAN-Karte von intel nicht erkannt wird (wird also in Yast nicht angezeigt). Lediglich die Ethernet-Karte funktioniert. Der Hardwareschalter für das WLAN steht natürlich auch auf "on" ^^
Ob ich den NetworkManager oder ifup benutze, spielt ebenfalls keine Rolle.
Das von Suse mitbelieferte Treibermodul wurde übrigens nie automatisch geladen. Ich musste das immer selbst mit "modprobe iwl4965" erledigen.
Um mir das zu ersparen, habe ich das Modul in der /etc/sysconfig/kernel eingetragen. Funktioniert soweit auch. Das Funknetz läuft aber trotzdem noch nicht.
Hier könnt Ihr Euch ja mal das Ergebnis der Skriptes anschauen:
Und bevor ich es vergesse: Unter Win XP funktioniert das WLAN einwandfrei. Ein Hardwarefehler sollte damit auszuschließen sein.
Wäre echt schön, wenn da jemand ne Idee hätte. da muss doch was zu machen sein.

PS: Ich weiß nicht, ob es was zu bedeuten hat. Aber bei meinem alten Rechner, wurde der WLAN-Treiber (ipw2200) immer auch in der Process table (Strg+Esc) angezeigt. Jetzt sehe ich dort aber nichts WLAN-mäßiges mehr. Und genau an der Stelle, wo iwl4965 stehen könnte/müsste, blinkt der Bildschirm alle paar Sekunden auf. Sieht ein bisschen so aus, als wenn dort etwas geladen wird und sofort wieder rausfliegt.
