[gelöst] TV-Karte: Hauppauge PVR2 via USB

Hi...

WIe schon durch den Betreff ersichtlich: Ich habe Probleme, meine TV-Karte von Hauppauge - PVR2 via USB - zu installieren.
Mein System: Linux 11.0 mit KDE 4.1.
Über Yast habe ich eine Karte hinzugefügt (die 'normale' PVR-Karte), für die ich allerdings keine Sender abfragen kann.

In folgedem Link: http://de.opensuse.org/HKL/TV-Karten bekomme ich die Info, dass mein kernel (ist pae > 2.6.18) den Treiber mitgeliefert haben sollte, finde ihn aber nicht in YAST. Es gibt dann außerdem den Link zu einer Treiberseite: http://www.isely.net/pvrusb2/pvrusb2.html
Dort kann ich den Treiber kompilieren. Leider bleibe ich dabei aber immer stecken.

*help* :( Weiß leider nicht mehr weiter...

Zuerst Mal: Danke für deine schnelle Antwort!

Leider bekomme ich auf hwinfo --tv als root keine Auswertung. Ich sehe nur, dass ein paar Zeilen kommen, dann ist die Bash wieder da und ich habe folgendes Bild:

Beim Kompilieren erhalte ich eben keine Fehlermeldung - der Bildschirm wird einfach schwarz und ich sehe nur noch die Maus. Ich warte ein Weilchen (habe schon bis zu einer Stunde gewarte) - und es tut sich leider immer noch nichts.

Hallo,

ich habe die o.g. Karte auch und archiviere alte VHS-Kasseten damit.
Sind die ivtv-treiber (Kernel-modul über Yast) installiert? Damit sollten alle Hauppauge PVR-Karten laufen.
Zu beachten ist, dass sie ein Mpeg-encoder mit sich bringt und nicht mit Kwintv o. TVTime läuft.
Die Karte kann NICHT über das Yast TV-Modul installieren werden. Die Treiber von iesely werden nicht mehr benötigt.
Mit "mplayer /dev/video0" kann man sich den Datenstrom anschauen.
Empfehle den tvviewer für diese Karten : http://home.arcor.de/saedelaere/download.html. Läuft auch mit Mythtv.

Für weitere Fragen stehe ich gerne zur Verfügung.

lt. opensuse.de ist Treiber ab Kernel 2.6.18 ist ein Treiber enthalten. ICh habe einen pae-kernel > 2.6.18

Hi,

prinzipiell würde ich die empfehlen die letzte beta von TV-Viewer zu verwenden. Dafür gibt es aber kein Paket, davor das tv-viewer Paket auf alle Fälle erst deinstallieren.
So nun die Frage ob deine TV-Karte läuft.

poste doch bitte nochmal den output von dmesg

Ich vermute mal du hast die Firmware nicht installiert.

Sorry für die halbe Information. Ich meinte damit, dass die Karte einen MPEG-Encoder-Chip mit sich bringt. Im Unterschied zu bttv o .ä. Karten siehst Du hier einen MPEG-Strom, ähnlich einer DVB-Karte. Dies hat den Vorteil, dass Du mit mplayer o. xine direkt über die Geräte-Dateien (dev/videoX) diesen Strom ansehen und aufzeichnen kannst.

Ich habe noch mal in meine installierten Pakete geschaut, und ich habe hier folgendes installiert:
ivtv und
ivtv-firmware

Das ivtv-kmp-xxx ist nicht installiert. Mein Fehler, wird wohl doch nicht benötigt.

Ein dmesg (einfach Karte aus- und einstecken) liefert:

Ja, also erst mal deine pvrusb2 wurde korrekt erkannt. Sehr gut.

Jetzt zu TV-Viewer, welche Version verwendest du und wie hast du sie installiert?
Komisch aber bei dir sind alle Files anscheinend nicht als ausführbar markiert.
