Hallo,
so nun bin ich bald mit den nerven am ende.
ich zähle schon keine stunden mehr, sondern tage die ich damit „verschwende“ die pcmcia- wlan-karte netgear wg511 in meinem notbook zum laufen zu bringen. Aber irgendwie ist es mir nicht möglich sie unter suse 9.0 zum leben zu erwecken. Da ich nicht einer derjenigen bin der sich mit linux gut auskennt habe ich nach längerer suche im internet den treiber prism54 nach der anleitung auf der seite: http://prism54.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=46 installiert.
aber…..nichts…..keine der beiden dioden glimmen auch nur einen hauch.
das ist mein letzter rettungsschrei die sache doch noch zu aktivieren…(gesetzt den fall, es kann mir jemand sachkundigen rat geben).

ja so sieht’s aus. Wie gesagt treiber installiert (auch firmware umbenannt in ´isl3890`) mit yast konfiguriert und neu gebootet. Keine ahnung was man da noch machen kann
falls alles nicht funktioniert bin ich doch wohl gezwungen linux den rücken zu kehren….denn vor lauter hardwareproblemen kommt man überhaupt nicht mehr zum eigentlichen „schaffen“. Aber ich finde der „billy“ hat schon genug kohle abgesaugt darum hoffe ich inständig das mir hilfe zuteil wird…..bitte, bitte, bitte.

ja so sieht’s aus. Wie gesagt treiber installiert (auch firmware umbenannt in ´isl3890`) mit yast konfiguriert und neu gebootet. Keine ahnung was man da noch machen kann
falls alles nicht funktioniert bin ich doch wohl gezwungen linux den rücken zu kehren….denn vor lauter hardwareproblemen kommt man überhaupt nicht mehr zum eigentlichen „schaffen“. Aber ich finde der „billy“ hat schon genug kohle abgesaugt darum hoffe ich inständig das mir hilfe zuteil wird…..bitte, bitte, bitte.
