mein Notebook hat einen Atheros-WLan-Chip, den ich nach laaaangen Monaten heute endlich mal in Betrieb nehmen wollte. Ndiswrapper ist konfiguriert, hat den Treiber gefressen und zeigt mir auch (über das kndiswrapper-Frontend) "device present" an. Bei Klick auf "config network" bekomme ich aber jedesmal "no interface".
Aaaalso YaST und neues Interface basteln... dachte ich. Nur kann ich kein Kernelmodul auswählen.
Und damit's nicht zu einfach wird: Das collectnetworkdata-Skript erklärt mir nur, ich soll mein Ethernetkabel ausstöpseln und es nochmal versuchen (auch wenn's schon draußen ist), in der hiesigen Wiki finde ich einen Link zu einer ndiswrapper-FAQ, die es nicht mehr gibt, eine Repository zum anderswo angegebenen madwifi-Site wird vom System nicht akzeptiert, und wenn ich auf den Website gehe und auf "Download" klicke... "forbidden". :zensur:
