Ich habe auf meinem IBM R51 Notebook Suse11.1 aufgesetzt. Jetzt geht mein Modem nicht mehr.

Mir sagen diese Aussagen leider nichts.

Ich hatte immer den Linuxant HSF -Treiber der hat auf Suse 10.1 immer funktioniert.

Kann mir jemand helfen?

Hi, lade dir mal wvdial runter (bzw. installiers v. d. DVD) und starte das Programm einmal als Root und dann als User, was erhältst du für Meldungen?

Jetzt nochmal einmal als user und als root:

Das Programm 'hwinfo' ist verfügbar im Paket 'hwinfo', das auf ihrem System installiert ist.

Der absoluter Pfad für 'hwinfo' ist '/usr/sbin/hwinfo', daher ist es wohl beabsichtigt, dass dieses nur von einem Benutzer mit Superuser Rechten gestartet werden kann (z.B. root).

Hast du mal versucht dein Modem einzurichten.

Also ich habe mal alles nochmal neu installiert. Bei der ersten Installation habe ich eine Fehlermeldung übersehen, die er mit YAST nicht angezeigt hat.

Ich habe dann die erforderlichen Module installiert und dann konnte ich den "alsa-driver" installieren.
Bei der anschliesenden Installation vom hsfmodem kam dann diese Meldung:

ENDLICH ich habs fast geschafft. Mein Modem läuft jetzt. Ein Problem habe ich noch, ich komme normal über Wlan mit den NetworkManager ins Internet. Nur wenn ich unterwegs bin, brauche ich das Modem. Beides aber verträgt sich nicht. Ich habe unter Netzwerkeinstellungen-> Globale Optionen->Traditionelle Methode mit ifup gewählt. Damit komme ich über das Modem ins Netz aber nicht über Wlan.
Wenn ich statt der "Traditionellen Methode " den "Networkmanager" auswähle geht das Wlan aber nicht das Modem.
Gibt es da eine Möglichkeit beides zu betreiben, ohne dass ich erst über YAST die Einstellung verändern muß?
