Hallo ich versuche schon seit zwei Tagen einen eMail Server zu installieren :-( ich bekomme immer diese Nachricht

woran kann das liegen?

du wirfst zwei sachen durcheinander - fetchmail und email ueber die konsole senden.

fetchmail kann keinen connect ueber 127.0.0.1 auf port 25 herstellen.
ein versenden ueber den mail-befehl scheitert auch. laeuft dein postfix
ueberhaupt?

mach mal ein telnet auf localhost port 25 oder netstet -lntp

telnet localhost 25 und bin auf postfix

Ich kann auch mit mail eMails senden im system. leider kann ich mit postfix nicht senden und fetchmail holt mir auch keine Daten

zeige mal die letzten zeilen von /var/log/mail - mal sehen was der postfix dazu sagt.


evtl. hast du smtp-authentification aktiviert....

es muss "smtp.1und1.com" heissen - deinen relayhost gibt es nicht. daher ist diese fehlermeldung nicht relevant fuer dein problem.

so - machen wir naegel mit koepfen. ich merke das du nicht sehr gut bist was die bedienung deines systems angeht.


- konsole oeffnen: tail -f /var/log/mail
- konsole oeffnen: fetchmail -avv

zurueck zur konsole eins und die meldung die jetzt gekommen ist posten.
