GELÖST: KDE4 Desktop Effekt Würfel funktioniert nicht

Hallo,

System:
Core2Duo E8500, 3,17 GHz
4 GB RAM
GraKa: GeForce 8800 GTS 256 MB RAM
OS: openSUSE 11.1 64 Bit & Vista Home Prof 64 Bit
KDE: 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 4.9"

Habe openSUSE 11.1 installiert, dazu den aktuellsten NVIDIA-Treiber in den Kernel eingebunden, 3D-Beschleunigung ist aktiviert. Ich nutze die KWin-eigenen Effekte von KDE4.

ALLE funkionieren (siehe Bild) mit 1 Ausnahme (anderes Bild):

Von dem schönen Würfel/Cube für die Arbeitsflächen sehe ich nur die Deckel, die Arbeitsflächen als solche werden nicht dargestellt. Es ist auch egal, ob ich die Kugel oder den Zylinder aktiviere, es kommt immer der Würfel. Habe schon 1000 Sachen durchprobiert und auch das INet durchforstet, nix gefunden. Andererseits haben mit dem Würfel wohl noch andere Probleme.

Muss doch irgendeine falsche/fehlende Einstellung sein.....

darüber kann man geteilter meinung sein. eine themenbezogene antwort wäre IMHO auch weniger ressourcenverschwendend *g*

auch gibt es hier (jedenfalls sehe ich keine) option, um jpg's als anhang mitzuschicken. hab sie jetzt auf nen ftp gepackt.

ich bin übrigens moderator in einem anderen forum. wenn ich dort einen user belehre über irgendein netiqette, halte ich es dann wenigstens auch noch für erforderlich, auf seine frage einzugehen. ist doch echt seltsam, wie einem in foren versucht wird, die lust auf linux gleich wieder zu vertreiben...

und noch ne sachliche frage: warum haut der x-server von nvidia die options in den screen-abschnitt, aber in allen FAQ's findet man, sie sollen in den device-abschnitt? scheint egal zu sein?
