(Gelöst) Ich kann keine cds / dvd s öffnen bzw Lesen.

Hi,

Ich habe vor kurzem openSuse 10,3 per DVD Installiert. Aber ich kann keine DVDs bzw cds öffnen.

Wenn ich z.b. eine DVD einlege liest er sie nur kurz. Aber es pasiert nichts. Im "Arbeitsplatz" ist sie nicht aufgelistet. Fehlermeldung kommt keine. Ich habe bereits andere DVDs und CDs ausprobiert. Ich habe ein DVD-Laufwerk und einen DVD-Brenner eingebaut: Bei beiden das selbe Phänomen bzw wie bereits erwähnt habe ich suse 10,3 per DVD installiert (hardware def. ausgeschlossen)

D.h. ich kann im moment keine CD und DVD öffnen.

Was kann ich machen damit ich CDs und DVDs lesen kann ?

Wie sieht die fstab aus?

Ein Eintrag in der fstab ist für CD- und DVD-Laufwerke mittlerweile überflüssig (Stichwort hal, udev, automount...).

Öffne mal eine Konsole und gebe als root folgendes Kommando ein:

tail -f /var/log/messages

Danach schiebst Du irgendein Medium in's Laufwerk und schaust beim Erkennungsvorgang, was die Konsole dazu meldet bzw. postest die Ausgabe hier.

Das Problem ist, dass du als normaler User keine CDs bzw. DVDs mounten darfst. Ist natürlich blöd, baer so ist es, bis man es nicht fixed.
Interessant ist dass es auch bei Suse vorkommt :roll:
Ich denke du solltest entsprechende GUI dafür haben und es dort einfach abhacken. Guck mal im KDE-Menü was es alles so gibt/als root/.

Beim neu starten von PolicyKit kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:

/etc/rc.d/policykitd restart
bash: /etc/rc.d/policykitd: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

im Runleveleditor wird PolicyKit auch nicht angezeigt. Laut smart ist es aber installiert.

Das ist der policykitd Bug.
Das kann auch nochmal auftreten. :wink:
