[gelöst] LTSP und eigener Kernel mit initrd für bootsplash

Hallo allerseits,

versuche nun schon einige Zeit vergeblich LTSP mit dem bootsplash (http://www.bootsplash.org) zu booten.

Dafür hab ich mir mal einen neuen Kernel erstellt, ausgehend vom 2.4.26er Vanilla, den gepacht:

.) Kernel patchen: Kernel 2.4.26 mit dem bootsplash version 3.0.7
(Patchen war fehlerfrei)

.) Kernelsetup nach www.bootsplash.org

.) Kernel backen

.) 10:15:45 linuxmike /120GB/Linux/ltsp/splash/bootsplash-3.0.7
[root]Utilities/splash -s
-f ../Linux/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg >> initrd.splash

[root]cp initrd.splash /tftpboot/lts/

.) mknbi-linux --rootdir=/opt/ltsp/i386 --ip=rom
--append="initrd=initrd.splash" --append="splash=verbose"
arch/i386/boot/bzImage > /tftpboot/lts/linux-2.4.26

.) BOOTEN und nix splash!

Was ich nicht genau weiss:

.) stimmt die Erstellung der initrd so?
.) wie muss ich die initrd für mknbi-linux angeben?
.) sonstige Kleinigkeiten die hier nicht stimmen?

also nach ner ganzen Menge Frust funktioniert nun der Bootvorgang von LTSP mit dem bootsplash!!

Hier nun meine grobe Vorgehensweise (evtl. hilfts ja mal wem):

.) Verwenden des Kernels 2.4.22 (!!!!) von kernel.org
.) Patchen mit dem Patch 3.07 für den 2.4.22er Kernel von: http://www.bootsplash.org/dload.html

18:06:15 linuxmike /120GB/Linux/ltsp/splash/bootsplash-3.0.7 [root]Utilities/splash -s -f ../SuSE-7.2/config/bootsplash-800x600.cfg >> /usr/src/linux-2.4.22_ltsp/initrd/initrd-testing_ltsp-02

.) Kernel configen nach der Anleitung von http://www.bootsplash.org/kernel.html
.) Kernel an LTSP anpassen
.) Kernel und Module bauen, Module in den LTSP-Root tree installieren
.) Kopieren der Module nach /lib/modules/ vom Entwicklungsrechner
.) Kopieren des Kernels nach LTSP - /boot:

.) Kopieren des Kernels nach /boot
.) /etc/fstab von LTSP anpassen:

.) Initrd erstellen:

.) Kernel-Boot-Image erstellen:

Note: elf format or --first32pm are now preferred
Real mode first32 will not be supported after Etherboot 5.0
