Gnome 3.2 läuft gleichzeitig mit KDE

Servus, Linux Gemeinde.
Habe folgendes Problem: Ich benutze schon eine ganze weile gnome 3.2 mit suse 12.1. Heute dachte ich mir, dass ich mal KDE (Basisystem 4.7) ausprobieren könnte. Habe es über Yast (Schemata) installiert. Beim Start, startet KDE anscheinend ganz normal, dann wird der Bildschirm kurz shcwarz und auf einmal taucht das gnome-panel von 3.2 auf. Mit den Activities, wie bei dem reinen Gnome 3.2. Mit anderen worten KDE und Gnome laufen gleichzeitig und überlappen sich. Was muss ich ändern, damit dem nicht mehr so ist?

ich kenn mich da zu wenig aus. hatte auch noch nie mehrere wm's installiert. aber ist es normal, dass die gleichen programme die ich in gnome im autostart hab, auch in kde mitgestartet werden? das ist nämlich der fall.

Das könnte damit zu tun haben, daß Du gdm als Display-manager verwendest. Für KDE ist eignetlich kdm zuständig, da dieser unter Anderem auch für die Effekte zuständig ist. Probier doch mal aus, KDE mit kdm zu starten, nachdem Du den Displaymanager umgestellt hast. Dann würde ich allerdings für alle Fälle X neu starten.
