Immer langsamer....

Erst mal FROHE OSTERN vorab! :)
Ich habe seit einiger Zeit das Problem, das mein PC immer langsamer wird. Das Starten der Prog zieht sich ohne Ende...Firefox benötigt gut 10sec. Auch das installieren von Software benötigt sehr viel zeit...teilweise bis zu einer viertel Stunde pro prog! Das ist doch auch nicht normal...oder?
Hat vielleicht jemand von Euch ne Idee woran es liegen könnte?

Jo, da laufen jede menge Progs. Aber welche nun davon "überflüssig" sind, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Ist halt nur unheimlich nervig!
Wie kann ich denn herraus finden welche Progs. wieviel Resourcen verbrauchen?

Hy!
Schau beim Fox mal bei den Erweiterungen!
Ist mir dieses Wochenende auch aufgefallen dass er sehr langsam startet.
Neuer Klappi :D
Auf dem Desktop startet er mit,da fällts nicht so auf.
Aber wieder zum Thema :Adblock plus frisst sehr viel.
Hab mal alle Erweiterungen geschmissen und voila.
Musst du testen.

Nee, der ist gut! Jo wenn wir schon beim Thema sind, auf unserem "Klappi" läuft alles einwandfrei....

So, habe Beagle deinstalliert...hat auch was gebracht, kommt mir aber immer noch schleppend vor. Was könnte ich denn noch deinstallieren? Habt Ihr vielleicht noch einen Tip für mich?

wie sieht es denn aus? Wenn du deinen Schlepptop? hochfährst; - arbeitet eventuell cron gerade oder prelink?

Hast du ihn einfach schonmal fertig rechnen lassen, so eine Stunde bis er fertig ist?

im selben Atemzug würde ich dir auch dashier wegen den TMP Verzeichnissen empfehlen:

@revealed: Der Tip mit dem tmp Verzeichnis war genial....nu geht der Fisch wieder ab! Kann es denn wirklich nur an den tmp Dateien gelegen haben das der PC soo langsam geworden ist?? Danke für die vielen Tips!

Naja, für mich als "Newbie" ist KDE schon das richtige.....denke mal wenn ich erst den rest durchschaut habe, kommt der wechsel bestimmt von ganz alleine :wink:
