Kismet - source=cardtype,interface,name ? Häh?

[problem]

Hi!

Hab grad Kismet installiert und will den Server jetzt in der kismet.conf konfigurieren. Da muss man seinen Kartentyp einstellen.

Das geht nach README auch ganz einfach:

2.  Set up the capture sources.  Most users will only need one, but it is
        possible to have any number of sources defined which will be combined
        into a single packet log.
        Sources are defined with the 'source' directive.  Source lines are
        defined with 'source=type,interface,name[,channel]'.  See the section
        'Capture Sources' for a list of source types.  The name can be anything
        that is useful for you to identify what source it is.  The initial
        channel is optional.  If an initial channel is requested on the command
        line it will take precedence.

'source=type,interface,name[,channel]'
Das soll ich also eintragen.

So, jetzt wollt ich natürlich wissen, was in den "Capture Sources" über meine Karte steht und was ich eintragen soll. Den Eintrag zu meiner Karte hab ich auch gleich gefunden:

Wo soll denn da stehen, was ich jetzt als source eintragen soll?
ipw2200 hab ich schon probiert. Geht aber nicht. Bin ich irgendwie blind? :evil:

Hat jemand ne Idee oder sogar schonmal die gleiche Karte eingerichtet?

Wie wäre es mit:

source=ipw2200,eth0,meineQuelle

Vorausgesetzt, deine WLAN-Karte heisst 'eth0', wenn sie z.B. 'wlan0' heisst, musst du den Eintag entsprechend anpassen.

Das hab ich schon probiert.
Da kommt immer folgender Typ von Meldung, egal ob ich ipw2200 oder irgend einen anderen Kartenty wähle:

Server options:  none
Client options:  none
Starting server...
Waiting for server to start before startuing UI...

No specific sources given to be enabled, all will be enabled.
Enabling channel hopping.
Enabling channel splitting.
FATAL: Unknown capture source type 'ipw2200' in source 'ipw2200,wlan0,meineQuelle'

Hab ich da vergessen noch was einzustellen oder liegts an meinem System?
