Mittlerweile bekomme ich "Nur noch" diese Fehlermeldung:

Aber ganz ehrlich:
Der Reader war damals schon ein Problem und nun 7 Jahre nachdem die Entwicklung eingestellt worden ist, sollte der nicht mehr benutzt werden.

Besser wäre wine + Reader

Offensichtlich ist "libharfbuzz" das Problem oder?

Ich habe hier das Standard-Paket von Leaps 15.2 installiert...
Hab ihr nen Tipp, wie das Problem gelöst werden könnte?

Nein, der Adobe Reader/acroread ist das Problem, siehe es endlich ein und steige auf etwas anderes um.

Den Master PDF Editor for Linux https://code-industry.net/free-pdf-editor/ oder etwas anderes?
Die kostenlose, unregistrierte Version unterstützt nicht alle Funktionen (siehe Tabelle).
Für meine Verwendungen (Formulare lesen und ausfüllen) reichen bisher die vorhandenen Programme (Okular, Evince, qpdfview, Inkscape (oder war es Scribus, ist schon etwas her) für besondere Sachen. Vom Master PDF Editor habe ich bisserher nur (Positives) gelesen, aber wenn eine Software gut gemacht ist, für meinen Bedarf passend ist, dann zahle ich auch dafür (z.b.: VueScan, Jamaica/Hibiscus, MakeMKV, Moneyplex usw.).

Inkscape ist auch nicht dafür gedacht, ich hatte es nur verwendet als ich 2010 oder 2013 das Zypper Cheat Sheet anpasste/bearbeitete. Durch irgendeinen Beitrag im WWW bin ich darauf gekommen. Ich weiß ja schon gar nicht mehr, ob es wirklich Inkscabe war, bin mir nur zu ca. 67,31 % sicher, ist schon so lange her.

Und wie schon erwähnt, für Formulare/Angelegenheiten in eigener Sache und für mein (schwerbehindertes) Sohnemännchen haben die anderen Programme bisher gereicht.

Inkscape bietet sich dort an, wo der unregistrierte Master PDF Editor ein Wasserzeichen ins Dokument stempelt.
Der Tipp ist gut!
Das Beste ist natürlich, wenn man statt PDF das Originaldokument bearbeiten kann.

Snap Apps oder auch snaps sind ein Paketformat, das vorallem von Canonical entwickelt und neben der Paketverwaltung installiert und genutzt werden kann. Darüber kann die Windows-Version des Acrobat Readers zusammen mit Wine installiert werden.
