Maus Konfigurationsprobleme

Hallo Community!

Soweit ich das richtig nachgegoogelt habe, sollte wenn man die beiden Maustasten gleichzeitig drückt, es als mittlerer Maustastendruck interpretiert werden. Genau das will ich nicht haben und versuche verzweifelt dies zu deaktivieren. Die Lösungsvorschläge, die ich bis jetzt gefunden habe, führen mich immer auf die XF86config zurück, dies in SuSe11.2 nicht mehr gibt.
Wollte fragen, wo man das genau konfigurieren kann?, hab in YAST schon alles durchsucht, aber leider nicht fündig geworden. (Nutze den GNOME-Desktop)

Öffne mal eine Konsole und führe folgendes aus:

sudo /sbin/init 3
sudo /usr/sbin/sax2

Dann kannst du den X- Server und die Maus konfigurieren. Danach führst du noch

sudo /sbin/init 5

aus, damit der X-Server wieder gestartet wird.

Per Yast->Hardware->Maus kannst du die Muas für die Konsole einrichten

Danke für die Antwort.
Habe nun versucht sax2 wie beschrieben im Runlevel 3 zu starten, doch selbst dafür wird ein "kleiner X-Server" gestartet und ich bekomm eine grafische Oberfläche. Die Oberfläche sieht genau gleich aus, als würd ich sax2 direkt mit laufenden xserver starten. Ich bekomm nur die Menüeinträge Monitor, Grafiktablet und Touchscreen. Soweit ich mich recht erinnere, gab es bei den alten Suse-Versionen auch noch einen Eintrag mit Maus, den ich eigentlich jetzt bräuchte :???:

Sonst noch Lösungsvorschläge?

Das sax einen X- Server startet ist normal, weil der X- Server dann die Hardware initialisiert und die Hardwareerkennung durchgeführt. Was hast du den für eine Maus? Poste mal bitte die Ausgabe von

egrep "WW|EE" /var/log/Xorg.0.log

und

/usr/sbin/hwinfo --mouse

Existiert bei dir die /etc/X11/xorg.conf? Wenn ja bitte den Inhalt posten. Wenn nicht, versuchst du folgendes:

/sbin/init 3
/usr/sbin/sax2 -ra
/sbin/init 5

Wenn du von sax2 Fehlermeldungen angezeigt bekommst, dann poste sie bitte.
