USB-Mäuse funktionieren unter SUSE 9.3 nicht

Hallo,

ich habe ein Problem. Meine USB-Maus funktioniert an sich tadellos, z.B. auf meinem einen Laptop unter SUSE 9.2. Auf meinem Anderen, unter SUSE 9.3, jedoch nicht. Bei einstecken wird die Maus vom SUSE Plugger zwar richtig (genauso, wie auf meinem einen Laptop) erkannt. Jedoch tut sich beim Bewegen nichts. Mein USB-Stick funktioniert auch einwandfrei und dieses Problem tritt bei mehreren Mäusen auf. Leider weiß ich nicht, welche Informationen da wichtig sind, deshalb hier mal:

Und was steht in der /etc/X11/xorg.conf (Abschnitt Maus/Eingabegeräte) drin?

also in der xorg.conf steht eigentlich nichts interessantes drin - glaube ich zumindest. Unter den Eingabegeräten/Maus finde ich lediglich:

Und das dürfte ja das Touchpad sein. Wenn ich die Maus reinstecke tut sich da nichts, auch wenn ich sie vor dem Booten rein stecke. Wenn ich mit Sax eine Maus Manuell konfiguriere, startet der PC neu, beim Versuch den X Server zu starten.
Bei meinem anderen PC (SUSE 9.2) tut sich auch nichts in der xorg.conf.

Wenn das eine 3-Tasten-USB-Maus ist füge einfach noch einen
"Maus -Abschnitt" hinzu.

Sollte etwa so ausschauen:

Danach X-Server neu starten (Benutzer ab/anmelden müsste reichen)
und falls es nicht geht noch den Gerätedatei-Pfad ("Device")
überprüfen.

Hm, danke, aber leider will die Maus immer noch nicht. Ich habe als Identifier Mouse[2] eingetragen und das eine Mal auch unter 'Section "ServerLayout"' 'InputDevice "Mouse[2]" "CorePointer"' eingefügt.

EDIT:

So, meine Lösung ist zwar nicht sehr Elegant und eigentlich auch keine Lösung aber da ich sowieso ein 32 bittiges OS wegen des Modems installieren mußte habe ich die Maus jetzt direkt bei der Installation reingesteckt und jetzt funktioniert alles.
