USV an SUSE 10.2 einrichten

Hallo, ich hab mir bei ebay diese USV-Box gekauft...

Habe nun schon APC installiert... so... wie Konfiguriere ich das ganze nun ? Hab schon gegoogelt, jedoch nichts passendes gefunden... wie bring ich meiner Linux-Kiste bei, das am Serial eine USV hängt ? woher weiß ich, an welchem Serial (com) das Teil hängt ?

Kann mir da jemand weiter helfen ?

Ich glaube das ging mit `apctest`.. ansonsten einfach in /etc/apcupsd/ konfigurieren bis alles sitzt.

eine Frage ist natürlich ob deine USV überhaupt UPC komptaibel ist und mit welchen Einstellungen.

ich habe neulich eine original APC in betieb genommen.
Dazu hatte ich eine nette pdf Datei http://www.apcupsd.com/manual/apcupsd.pdf

Diese USV hatte einen USB anschluß und dies mußte auch so eingestlellt werden (ich meine es war cable type UND driver). "smart" funktionierte nicht!

Aber wie gesagt wie das bei deinem Teil ist weiß der Himmel.

BTW beim Aufruf von apctest muss der Deamon deaktiviert sein
