Wenn ich eine externes Dateisystem anschließe (USB-Festplatte, USB-Stick, FireWire-Festplatte, ...), wird automatisch ein neues Device angelegt und auch von udev erkannt. Aber dann hängt der Mount-Prozess!
Wenn man den Mount-Prozess von Hand eingibt, hängt er ebenfalls.
Ein Blick auf die Liste der Prozesse zeigt diese 3 Eintragungen:
root 1970 1968 0 19:56 ? 00:00:00 mount -t binfmt_misc none /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc

Diese Prozesse hängen anscheinend. Schießt man "1978" ab, mountet der Computer die externen Laufwerke wieder normal.
