Hallo! Ich habe vor das acerhk Modul in den Kernel zu integrieren.
Leider verstehe ich die Install nicht komplett:
If you want the driver to fully integrate into the kernel tree of version 2.6
proceed as follows:
1. Copy the acerhk directory into the source tree, for instance
/usr/src/linux/drivers/misc/acerhk
-->Habe den entpackten acerhk Ordner in das misc verzeichnis kopiert
2. Include the driver directory in the config files. Add to the Kconfig
file of the parent directory(/usr/src/linux/drivers/misc/Kconfig):
config ACERHK
tristate "Acerhk driver"
depends on EXPERIMENTAL
---help---
This is an experimental acer keyboard driver for
acer laptops
--> in die Kconfig hab ich folgendes dazugeschrieben:
#
# Misc strange devices
#
menu "Misc devices"
config IBM_ASM
tristate "Device driver for IBM RSA service processor"
depends on X86 && EXPERIMENTAL
default n
---help---
This option enables device driver support for in-band access to the
IBM RSA (Condor) service processor in eServer xSeries systems.
The ibmasm device driver allows user space application to access
ASM (Advanced Systems Management) functions on the service
processor. The driver is meant to be used in conjunction with
a user space API.
The ibmasm driver also enables the OS to use the UART on the
service processor board as a regular serial port. To make use of
this feature serial driver support (CONFIG_SERIAL_8250) must be
enabled.
WARNING: This software may not be supported or function
correctly on your IBM server. Please consult the IBM ServerProven
website http://www.pc.ibm/ww/eserver/xseries/serverproven for
information on the specific driver level and support statement
for your IBM server.
If unsure, say N.

config ACERHK

depends on EXPERIMENTAL
---help---

3. Include the acer directory in it's parents
Makefile(/usr/src/linux/drivers/misc/Makefile):
obj-$(CONFIG_ACERHK) += acerhk/
--> makefile ist bearbeitet
4. In this case you also need to activate the misc drivers first
(/usr/src/linux/drivers/Kconfig):
source "drivers/misc/Kconfig"
--> Befehl ausgeführt
If that's done, you should be able to select the driver from the configuration
programm and build the module.
Aber wo wähle ich den Treiber aus der Konfiguration und wie bilden ich das Module????
