Bootsplash unter openSuSE 11.0 weg

Hallo, hätte gern meinen Bootsplash wieder. Unter /etc/sysconfig/bootsplash steht:

## Description: enables/disables bootup graphics
## Type: yesno
## Default: yes

# SPLASH can be set to "no" to turn off the splash-screen on console 1

unter /etc/bootsplash/themes/ steht er auch drin.

Kann es vielleicht mit den ATI Treibern zusammenhängen?

Trag nach schowopts noch einen passenden VGA= Wert ein. Z.B. vga=0x31a für 1280x1024. Mehr erfährst du über

Habe ich so gemacht, kommt dann aber beim booten soetwas von wegen undefinied video mode press enter or space

Hängt beim Booten noch ein am USB-Stick/Platte dran? Dann bekomme ich auch immer die 30-sec-Meldung. Falls ja, mal ohne probieren. Ansonsten per rpm, zypper oder Yast überprüfen ob das Theme für Grub installiert ist.

Hab mal unter YaST geschaut, dort ist bootsplash 3.3-126.1 und bootsplash-theme-SuSE-classic installiert. USB ziehe ich jetzt mal alles ab.

So, bootet ohne USB schonmal und die Auflösung hat sich auch geändert, aber ich habe noch keinen bootsplash. Muß den noch irgendwo einstellen?

Leider auch keinen Erfolg gehabt. Kann es vielleicht mit dem Kernel zusammenhängen, das es nicht klappt?
Habe gelesen, daß splashy kernelunabhängig funftionieren soll. Installiert ist splashy und auch die Themes unter YaST, nur wie konfiguriere ich das ?

a) was hast du eigentlich unternommen, dass der Splash weg ist?
b) was genau hat beim letzten Vorgang nicht funktioniert?
