dsl mit suse 10.2

hallo,
habe folgendes problem:
gehe mit ethernet und modem siemens plus ins internet (dsl)
während sich einige seiten zügig aufbauen z. B. google.de, spiegel online
lassen sich andere wie z. B. postbank.de, nicht öffnen. firefox zeigt blitzschnell, dass diese seiten unbekannt sind. ebenso problematisch ist die weiterleitung auf andere links von google oder auch von dieser site.

provider ist alice-dsl und merkwürdig: mit win stellen sich diese probleme nicht. sowohl bei suse 10.2 und win werden die dns server automatisch vergeben.meine versuche stationäre dns server einzugeben und verschiedene mtu werte einzugeben, waren leider vergeblich. auch ipv6 abschalten ohne Erfolg. ich habe schon in diesem forum gelesen, dass es möglicherweise keine abhilfe gibt, kann mich damit aber noch nicht abfinden. poste jetzt die var/log/messages. kann mir jemand helfen?

Schau mal ins Wiki, da gibt es eine Erklärung dazu.

BTW:

MTU habe ich durchprobiert. Mit 1500 genauso gut wie mit 1420 oder weniger.
Kenne leider keinen button Code. In Suse gibt der config editor das wohl nicht her.

Öhm... auf DERSELBEN Kiste einen DHCP Server laufen zu haben UND die Netzwerkkarte via DHCP konfiguriert zu haben ist schon eher merkwürdig.

Ansonsten, um den Fehler einzukreisen:

Schreib Dir mal unter Windows die IP-Adressen der Seiten auf die unter Linux nicht gehen (z.B. mit ping www.seitedieunterlinuxnichtgeht.de). Dann gib die unter Linux im Browser mal direkt ein (also http://aa.bb.cc.dd).

Eine Verbesserung der Konnektivität habe ich mit der Eintragung der Nameserver von alice-dsl erreicht. Also nicht mehr dhcp zuweisen. Damit lassen sich wohl die meisten seiten öffnen. Dennoch: die postbank ignoriert mich weiterhin und ist auch nicht anzupingen.javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon(':?:')

Öhm... auf DERSELBEN Kiste einen DHCP Server laufen zu haben UND die Netzwerkkarte via DHCP konfiguriert zu haben ist schon eher merkwürdig.

Na ja wie man nimmt.
1. läuft der dhcp ja gar nicht weil er dank genialer konfig gleich wieder abschmiert
2. macht schon Sinn wenn man interne und exteren Schnittstellen hat, so wie ich. dsl0 wird per dhcp vom provider versorgt. auf eth0 und eth1 läuft der eigene dhcp-server für die win-clients

Heisst das dass dir per dhcp unbrauchbare dns-server adressen gegeben werden?
Ich hab von Alice ja schon viel schlechtes gehört, aber das wäre doch wohl der Gipfel - allerdings warum kann windows damit umgehen?

Mir ist nach wie vor unklar worin die Ursache dieses DNS-Problemes in Verbindung mit DSL Routern und Konfiguration des Routers als DNS besteht.

Habe inzwischen ale Eintraungen vom dhcp server gelöscht. netzwerkkarte mit nameserver von alice-dsl 213.191.92.84 kofiguriert. Das funzt dann auch warscheinlich (kann natürlich sein, dass es noch irgendwelche seiten gibt, die nicht öffnen) Nur die postbank weigert sich standhaft:

Dass es mit dyn. dns nicht funzt, steht ausser Frage, bei der Konf. gehen mind 50 % aller seiten nicht. Warum windows damit zurecht kommt, kann ich nicht sagen. Selbst die Postbank ist dort erreichbar. Ping auf postbank.de bricht dort allerdings auch wg. zeitüberschreitung ab. Dennoch wird die seite im browser (firefox) geöffnet.

wenn ich dein logfile genau ansehe, dann startest Du einen eignen DNS-Server, richtig?

Das dürfte wohl ein wesentlicher Unterschied zur Windows kiste sein.

Was treibt der denn? Wie ist er konfiguriert?
Was passiert wenn Du den weglässt?

Schau doch mal unter welcher IP-Adresse Windows die Postbank ereicht und gib diese unter linux direkt im browser ein.

Das die Postbank sich nicht anpingen läßt, d.h. auf pings nicht antwortet kan gut sein - kann ich gerade nicht prüfen, gerne heute abend.

Habe postbank unter win unter 195.50.155.73 erreicht und o wunder diese dns funzt auch mit suse. Aber die weiterleitung auf https// banking.postbank.de ist dann wieder essig, obwohl ich schon auf der postbank seite bin.

Da mich dieses Thema nicht losläßt, denn das Problem ist immer noch vorhanden, gebe ich hier noch mal einen Hinweis: was haben die öfftl. rechtl. Internetanbieter gemeinsam?. Ich kann die sites weder bahn, post, zdf, ard allg., und keine der einzelnen ard-anstalten, postbank, erreichen.
Könnte ein Wechsel des modems, derzeit siemens plus ext. von alice, eine Veränderung der Situation bringen?

Es kann einfach nicht sein, dass mit win alles funzt und mit suse 10.2 nicht.

Hi, ist das Problem noch offen ?
Ich habe vergleichbare Konf wie Du:
- Suse 10.2, DSL (allerdings Arcor), LAN mit 2 Win-clients
Habe dynDNS laufen (für Zugriff auf LINUX-Box von außen), DHCP (Client für DSL, Server für LAN), DNSserver, Firewall, apache (nur lokal benutzt), 2 spezielle Proxies für LAN (Internet-Cache, data compression), ClamAV

NULL Problem mit DNS.

Du kannst normalerweise jeden DNS Server benutzen, also auch einen, der NICHT von Alice verwaltet wird. Versuche das mal, falls DHCP immer noch nicht funktioniert. Wir können auch mal unsere Konf vergleichen, wenn Du willst. Es würde mich nämlich wirklich sehr wundern, wenn Alice-DNS-server nicht richtig fuktionieren.
