ich habe hier zwei PCMCIA-Netzwerkkarten mit 8139 Chipsatz und NE2000 kompatibel. Unter Knoppix (2.4.23-xfs) kein Problem.
lsmod bringt:

pcnet_cs 1
8390 0 [pcnet_cs]
crc32 0 [8390]
ds 2 [pcnet_cs]
yenta_socket 2 [pcne_cs]
pcmcia_core 0 [pcne_cs ds yenta_socket]
unter Eisfair (2.4.26-1) nach ausführen von:
sudo su
modprobe pcmcia_core
modprobe yenta_socket
modprobe ds
modprobe crc32
modprobe 8390
modprobe pcnet_cs
cardmgr -c /lib/modules/2.4.26-1/pcmcia
bringt lsmod
used by
pcnet_cs 0 (unused)
8390 0 [pcnet_cs]
crc32 0 [8390]
ds 0 [pcnet_cs]
yenta_socket 2
pcmcia_core 0 [pcne_cs ds yenta_socket]
Die Netzwerkkarte leuchtet daraufhin schonmal.
Jedoch kann ich mittels alias eth0 pcnet_cs kein
eth0 erzeugen, er sagt dieses gäbe es nicht!?!
Wer kann mir helfen, wo liegt mein Fehler? Es funktioniert mit keiner der beiden Karten.
