emi 2|6 treiber installieren

Hallo,

ich hatte schon einmal wegen dieser Hardware gepostet. Damals kamen wir aber auf kein Ergebnis. Bei der EMI 2|6 handelt es sich im Grunde um eine usb Soundkarte. Diese wird aber nicht automatisch erkannt. Jetzt hab ich entdeckt, das der Treiber schon mit dem Kernel mitgeliefert wird. Bei mir liegt er im Ordner /usr/src/linux-2.6.27.21-0.1/drivers/usb/misc nur habe ich keine Ahnung, wie ich den zum laufen bekomme.

Zum testen, einfach als root den folgenden Befehl ausführen:

modprobe emi26

Das Problem wird nacher nur das Hotplugging hin zu bekommen.

Inzwischen hat sich aber einiges geändert. Ich hab jetzt 11.1 64Bit (sorry hatte ich oben vergesssen) KDE 4.2 drauf. Und ich bekomme sie nicht mehr manuell installiert. wenn ich es über Yast versuche gibt er die Meldung:

Fehler während der Installation von USB Audio Das Kernelmodul konnte nicht geladen werden. En möglicher Grund dafür können falsche Modulparameter sein, sowie ungültige IO- oder IRQ-Parameter

die Karte wird am USB erkannt. lsusb gibt

Das Kernelmodul ist schon vorhanden.

/lib/modules/2.6.27.21-0.1-pae/kernel/drivers/usb/misc/emi26.ko

So wie es aussieht kennt der Treiber die hier verwendete Version nicht. Ein Blick in den Quellcode zeigt die unterstützen Versionen:

Um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich noch nie einen Kernel selbst gebaut, obwohl ich Suse schon länger benutze. Und ich habe momentan zu wenig Zeit um mich in das Thema zu einzuarbeiten.

Danke euch beiden für die Mühen. Aber ich denke, ich werde es nicht weiter verfolgen. Der Normale Sound funktioniert ja. Um zu arbeiten werde ich dann wieder mein XP bemühen.
