[gelöst] Booten nach Kernelupdate nur mit ständigem Drücken

Hallo zusammen,

nachdem ich nun schon viel bei Euch gelernt habe, und es so nie nötig war, selbst was zu fragen stehe ich heute vor einer Herausforderung, mit der ich etwas überfordert bin.

kurz zum System
IBM Thinkpad T43p
openSuse 10.3 mit KDE

Zum Problem:
gestern abend hat mir das Tray-Icon meines openSuse Updater mit einem roten Ausrufezeichen signalisiert, dass es ein neues Sicherheitsupdate für mein System gibt. Es war genau Eines, nämlich das Kernelupdate. ich hab meine Arbeit beendet und die Installation angestoßen. Nach der erfolgreichen installation wurde ich aufgefordert, mein System neu zu starten, damit die Änderungen gültig werden, was ich auch sofort getan habe.

Die Karre ist also runtergefahren und dann wieder hoch - doch bereits beim hochfahren merkte ich, dass etwas nicht so ganz stimmt.

Sämtliche Meldungen die am Screen stehen waren in blau (!) und die Kiste hat nur weitergemacht, wenn ich eine beliebige Taste (ENTER) gedrückt habe.

Das System fährt schon hoch und ich kann dann auch arbeiten, aber immer wieder beim Bootvorgang scheint es eben auf eine Eingabe zu warten und erst wenn cih dann Enter drücke gehts weiter - das ist nervig und ich habe keinen Plan woran das liegt.

Meine neue Kernel-Version: 2.6.23.8-ccj59-default (ausgabe von uname -r)

unter /var/log/ gibt es eine Datei namens boot.log diese hat 0kb und das Erstellungsdatum spricht mit dem Installationsdatum überein - die boot.msg ist aktuell und sieht so aus Siehe unten

Kann mir bitte jemand weiterhelfen, damit ich mein System wieder normal starten kann, ohne auf der Entertaste einschlafen zu müssen?

In Yast habe ich zwar einige Community-Repositories aktiviert, aber suser-jengelh kann ich da nirgends finden - sorry - vielleicht ist diese Frage jetzt blöd, aber wo find ich denn diese installationsquelle?

Bist du sicher, dass du soviele Quellen immer und ständig benötigst?

Ich würde da mal etwas "fegen" und nur die Quellen ständig aktivieren, die für ein sicheres System unbedingt erforderlich sind.

Wo genau du dir nun diesen Kernel "eingefangen" hast ... kann ich momentan allerdings auch nicht erkennen :roll:

videolan würde ich auch noch deaktivieren - musst du ja nicht gleich löschen als Install-Quelle, eben nur deaktivieren - damit du erstmal ein funktionierendes System erhälst.

So könnte es über die Zeile gehen ... weiß ich jetzt aber nicht sicher. :oops:

Und danach die Quellen updaten:

Aber schau dir vor dem System-Update die Pakete nochmal genau an :!:
Nicht das dann das nächste "Blaue Wunder" lauert ;)
 
ok hab ich gemacht, beim Update fand er jetzt nur
SDL_sound-1.0.1-1.pm.5.i586.rpm

kann ich jetzt über den YAST hergehen und in Software installieren den aktuellen Kernel rausnehmen und einen SuSE-Kernel installieren?
 
Mein Tipp - erstmal schaun, was dir nun für Kernels angeboten werden:

zypper se kernel-default

und dann einen installieren:

zypper in <Kernel-Paketname>

Ich mach eben sowas viel lieber auf der Zeile :roll:
und "zypper" ist das Kommandozeilen-Frontend für YaST.

Nachdem ich die unnötigen Installationsquellen entfernt und so im System ein bissl aufgeräumt hatte hab ich das System mit zypper aktualisiert und anschließend 2.6.22.13.0.3 aus dem opensuse 10.03-updates-repository installiert.

jetzt löffts wieder..
