Das Problem war, das gspca und IVTV gleichzeitig sich nicht verstehen. Also GSPCA oder IVTV beansprucht vom jewieiligen die Videonode und dabei kommt es zu konflikten. Dementsprechend kann man diese durch entsprechende eintragung in der modprobed.conf.local und /etc/modprobe.d/tv auseinandersortieren, was die Problematik umgeht. Den Stream von der Karte kann man testen beispielsweise mit "cat /dev/video1 | xine -V Xv stdin://mpeg2" und tunen beispielsweise mit "ivtv-tune -t europe-west -c E5 -d /dev/video1" und seine Webcam kann man beispielsweise durch angabe der richtigen node so testen: "gqcam -v /dev/video" Wichtig ist eben jeweils die Angabe der Videonode bei mehreren Geräten sonst kommt ivtvtune beispielsweise mit diesem IOCTL fehler daher. IVTV Kernel Modul habe ich schon einmal installiert:
Ich weiss aber nicht genau, was ich alles brauche.

Wenn ich yast starte steht die Karte drin als autodetected. Yast findet aber keine Sender.

bin mal gerade dabei... danke * habe mir fertige Files heruntergeladen und prüfe gerade noch die IVTV Version die ich im Yast2 gezogen habe und schaue ob die Firmwarenamen passen...

The easiest way to obtain the firmware files is to simply download this file. This file is meant for ivtv-0.4.2 and up and always contains the recommended firmware versions. You need to extract the archive in the hotplug directory (see the Location section above). For older ivtv versions you need to rename the files to what is appropriate for that ivtv version (see Firmware filenames above).

gemacht hab ich gemacht, ja.

Aber der Bootvorgang dauert jetzt *ewig* und im yast2 kann ich die Karte auch noch nicht einstellen und in var/log/boot.log sind allerdings keine fehler betreffend der TV Karte mehr aufgetreten, allerdings hat meine Netzwerkarte ... die scheint Verlegt worden zu sein oder angeblich 2x existent, jedenfalls eine davon geht eine nicht (gibts ja auch nur 1x) und yast2 hängt grad so bei der TV Karten konfiguration herum beim Speichern der Einstellungen. - mist.

Was mach ich nu?

Warum lädt das ding bttv und nicht ivtv?

hab noch eine Idee:

die modules.conf gibts ja nicht mehr die ist ja jetzt "/etc/modprobe.d/" ?

sorry das ich jetzt auch noch einen Doppelpost hinleg aber ich komm nicht klar!

habe noch gemacht:

und modprobe ivtv

immer dann wenn ivtv anstelle bttv geladen ist, gibt er mir:

Also kdetv (sowie auch tvtime) funktioniert mit den PVR-Karten meines Wissens nach grundsätzlich nicht. Zu motv und xawtv kann ich leider nichts sagen, da ich beide Proggis noch nie benutzt habe.

Funktioniert denn der Test gemäß http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Howto#Test_the_card?

Die üblichen tv-Programme wie kdetv oder xawtv arbeiten mit dem ivtv Treiber und den von ihm unterstützten Karten nicht zusammen. Im Gegensatz zu bttv Karten ist in die PVR 150 ein Hardware MPEG2 Encoder integriert. Daher steht über /dev/video0 direkt ein mpeg2 Stream zur Verfügung, den man sich mit "xine pvr:/" anschauen kann (cat /dev/video0 > hallo.mpg speichert den Stream auf der HD). Sender kann man mit ivtv-tune einstellen. ARD erhalte ich zB (in Berlin) mit: "ivtv-tune -t europe-west -c E10". Komfortablere Lösungen bieten vdr oder mythtv. Die mythtv packages von Packman müßten AFAIK "out of the box" funktionieren (im letzten Linux Sonderheft der ct war eine audführliche Anleitung über die Einrichtung von mythtv). Für die Kombination vdr + pvr 150 benötigst du das "xine" Plugin (bei Packman im vdr-plugins rpm) und das "pvrinput" Plugin (selbst kompilieren; siehe http://www.vdr-wiki.de).

da fehlt mir noch was damit ich bauen kann oder? Die Anleitung ist etwas sehr knapp... vdr-pvrinput-0.1.1.tgz

Also neuer Stand:

Ich hab keinen Tuner für die PVR Karte (keine Möglichkeit kanäle einzustellen)?
IVTV mekkert allerdings nicht wegen einem Tuner.
Dann bin ich dran und habe mir ffmpeg angeschaut, hab ich auch installiert.
Dann geh ich her und schaue mir xvmc an. Für Xine.

Dann hab ich mythtv geinstet.
Aber es kommt ganz oft dieser Fehler:

Bitte euch nochmals um Hilfe. Wenn ich keinen Tuner hinbekomm ist das ganze Unterfangen wohl ziemlich sinnlos. Auch wenn die Ausgabeplugins schonmal vorhanden währen. Also beispielsweise Xvmc und xine und ffmpeg. Die Grafische endschnittstelle währe im prinzip ziemlich egal.

Du solltest als erstes versuchen den Tuner zum Laufen zu bekommen. Hierzu ein paar Fragen:
1. Existiert das Device-File /dev/video# (mit #=0,1,2 oder 3) ?
2. Wenn ja - wie sind die Permissions?
3. Enthält /var/log/messages nach erfolglosen ivtv-tune Aufrufen irgendwelche Infos?
4. Liefert ivtvctl -a nützliche Infos (außer Fehlermeldungen)?
5. Hast du mal versucht mit dem tuner-Parameter des ivtv Treibers zu spielen? Woher stammt der Wert tuner=50? Bei mir funktioniert zB. tuner=55. Das kann bei dir aber anders sein, da nicht immer die selben Tuner verbaut werden.
6. Wenn alles nichts hilft mal das Debug-Level des ivtv Treibers erhöhen (Option ivtv_debug=511 => full debugging; überflutet allerdings deine Log-Dateien :wink:

gspca ist meine Webcam die läuft auch mit KDETV wenn ich aber auf die TV Karte umschalte dann *freeze* Aber die Webcam gibt nur grünes wirrwarr. Die TV Karte hängt das KDETV dann auf.

Ich probiere schon eine weile ich weiss nicht ob die Meldungen, was du brauchst? Habe nach *tuner* in messages gesucht:

Die 50 hab ich in der modprobed.local.conf als option eingetragen. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das richtig ist, weil der wo das Wiki Howto gemacht hat in der modules.conf sektion im wiki von seiner PVR 150 redet?

vorher hab ich noch sinnlos folgende Befehle eingegeben (ich weiss garnicht was ich mache!)

Um es nochmal zu wiederholen: Dein erstes Ziel sollte sein ivtv-tune zum Laufen zu bekommen. Hierbei helfen evt. folgende Tipps:
1. Schau mal nach ob es bei dir die Datei /etc/modprobe.d/tv gibt. Da hat nämlich yast seine Konfiguration abgelegt, die evt. mit deiner kollidiert (zB. andere Treiber und Parameter). Diese Datei umbenennen (zB. tv.old) und dann die Zeilen die du in modprobe.conf.local abgelegt hast in eine neue Datei /etc/modprobe.d/tv schreiben (und in modprobe.conf.local löschen).
2. Die Zeile "options ivtv tuner=50" in "options ivtv tuner=55" ändern. Ich habe das selbe Tuner-Model (TCL M2523_3DB _E) und bei mir klappt es mit tuner=55). Die Zeile "alias tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv" ist glaub ich nicht nötig (bei mir klappt es ohne; ob sie schadet weiß ich nicht).
3. ivtv Treiber entladen + laden: rmmod ivtv <return> modprobe ivtv.
Oder: Neu booten.
4. Sender einstellen: ivtv-tune -t europe-west -c <Kanal-Nr.>. Bei Erfolg sollte hier die Meldung: "/dev/video0: 210.250 Mhz (Signal Detected)" (oder ähnliches) erscheinen.
5. Mit: "xine pvr:/" fernsehen.

EDIT: Es dürfte wohl besser sein eine evt. vorhandene Datei /etc/modprobe.d/tv zu löschen (bzw in ein backup-Verzeichnis zu bewegen) anstatt sie nur umzubenennen. Ich bin nicht sicher ob modprobe alle Dateien unter /etc/modprobe.d/ auswertet.

es gibt bei mir 3 Modprobe.conf´ s :S

Die Local ist für sachen, die man selber ändern will.
Die anderen 2 sind einma yast2tvsave oder so und "tv".

Alle 3 haben den selben Inhalt:

Es gibt ja mehrere Tuner Optionen? Gibt es eine Liste aus der ich alle verfügbaren abgleichen kann?

ok... das hier liegt jetzt eh erstmal auf Eis... habe meine NVidia nicht wieder bekommen und die Kohle gutgeschrieben bekommen im tausch hab ich mir eine ATI geholt. Von dem her muss ich warten bis die ATI Treiber so weit sind.
