[gelöst]onboard LAN - kein Internetzugang

Guten Abend,

SuSE 11.1
NVIDIA GeForce 8100 /nForce 720a
KDE 3.5

ich möchte den onboard LAN für DSL nutzen. Leider klappt das nicht.
In Yast wird die Hardware angezeigt und trotzdem, muß ich noch ein Kernelmodul(Ethernet Treiber) nachinstallieren?

Hier die Fehlermeldung von Kinternet:

Hilf mir mal, ich verstehe deine Frage nicht ganz ...

Du möchtest deine SuSE 11.1 ans DSL anschliessen per Einwahlverbindung? Oder doch eher über einen Router? Normalerweise nimmt dein Router die Verbindung über DSL zu deinem Provider auf. Am Router schliesst du deinen PC per Netzwerkkabel an und aus Sicht des PC hat er auch gar nix mit DSL zu tun. Die Konfiguration der Verbindung, Einwahldaten usw. sind im Router hinterlegt.

Aber wie gesagt, ich weiss nicht auf was du raus willst!?

Ich hatte eine Ethernetkarte für den DSL Zugang eingebaut. Die sollte jetzt raus um den Onboard Ethernet vom Mainboard zu nutzen. Damit wird wieder ein Steckplatz frei.
Genau das funktioniert nicht, außer mit xp.

Nach langen Basteln usw, - habe ich die alten Skripte in etc/ppp/ gelöscht und dann noch mal über yast den Zugang eingerichtet.


Ziel erreicht - DSL vom Onboard geht und ich habe den Steckplatz wieder zur Verfügung.
