[gelöst] Opensuse 11.1: Beagle nicht verwendbar

Hallo ich wollte mich erkundigen, ob es noch andere hier im Forum gibt, bei denen Beagle nach einer Standardinstallation von SUSE 11.1 nicht funktioniert.

Bei mir ist zwar eingestellt er solle da Homeverzeichnis durchsuchen, was er aber scheinbar nicht tut und wenn man einen Ordner zur Indizierung hinzufügen möchte stürzt er ab. Auch der Firefox Plugin stürzt regelmäßig ab. Kann eigentlich nicht an meiner Computerkonfiguration liegen, hab es bei mehreren Computern installiert und immer dasselbe.
Verwende es mit KDE4.

Möchte mich erkundigen, wie es bei anderen Usern ausschaut diesbezüglich, hab nichts im Internet gefunden. Scheint irgendwie ein Bug zu sein.

Beagle braucht viel zu viel Ressourcen die meisten User haben das eh deinstalliert.
Allerdings habe ich weder auf der ML noch sonst was dazu gelesen.
 
Nun, es gibt durchaus noch den ein oder anderen Nutzer, der Beagle nicht nur installiert hat, sondern auch damit arbeiten möchte. Wenn es denn ginge.
Bei mir mit Opensuse 11.1. unter KDE3 das Gleiche. Das Homeverzeichnis wird offenbar nicht indiziert, das einzige was bei mir gefunden wird, sind Kopete-Logs.
Das Logfile, das Beagle in ~/.beagle/Log/2009-01-14-16-21-36-IndexHelper ablegt sieht auch etwas verwirrt aus:

ist nur reine Spekulation, da ich den Beagle nicht gebrauche, da ich mich vermutlich auf nepomuk und strigi konzentrieren werde(???) aber Dein Auszug sieht sehr danach aus, dass Du dem Beagle nicht gesagt hast, was bzw. wie er denn indizieren soll. Da musst Du Dich einmal durch die share/docs wühlen.

Ich habe in Kerry Beagle die entsprechenden Einstellungen getroffen. Wenn die bei Beagle nicht ankommen, ist das wohl eher ein Fall für einen Bugreport als ein vertieftes Doc-Wühlen.
