[gelöst] Toshiba TE2100 - Geforce Go 420 - SuSE 11?

Hallo,

habe gerade SuSE 11.00 auf obiges Notebook installiert. Es funktionierte auch alles problemlos, bis ich, wie es automatisch vorgeschlagen wird, auch das NVIDIA repository eingetragen habe. daraufhin wurde dann der aktuelle treiber von nvidia installiert. seitdem bleibt der bildschirm schwarz, sobald X geladen wird (also zum login-schirm). woran kann das liegen?

Du musst in deiner xorg.conf folgende Zeile einfügen

Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP"
Der Teil von deiner xorg.conf muss dann so aussehen

Hatte gerade das selbe Problem

Habe zwar jetzt auch 3D Unterstützung allerdings nur bei einer Auflösung von 800x600 habe zwar 1024x768 eingestellt zeigt er auch in sax2 an, aber es ist dennoch nur 800x600 :-(

kann mir da vielleicht jemand helfen?

Habe es jetzt hin bekommen.

1. Folgende Zeilen in die xorg.conf einfügen

in der "Section "Device"

Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP"

2. in der section "monitor" folgende Zeile einfügen

Option "CustomEDID" "DFP-0:/usr/lib/edid.bin"

3. In der screen section

Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP-0"

4. Download die edid.bin http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=24926&d=1175837051

5. die datei edid.bin.gz entpacken und in den Ordner "/usr/lib/" kopieren

6. Neustart und jetzt müsste alles gehen
