Hallo,
ich benutze OpenSuse 11
und versuche VirtualBox 1.6.2 zum laufen zu bewegen.
wenn ich eine Virtualisierung laufen lassen möchte, kommt:

VirtualBox kernel driver not installed. The vboxdrv kernel module was either not loaded or /dev/vboxdrv was not created for some reason. Re-setup the kernel module by executing '/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup' as root.
VBox status code: -1908 (VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED).

wenn ich dann

'/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup'
als su ausführe, kommt
Code: 
Recompiling VirtualBox kernel module                                 failed
  (Look at /var/log/vbox-install.log to find out what went wrong)

und in dieser steht dann:
Code: 
Makefile:154: *** Error: unable to find the include directory for your current Linux kernel. Specify KERN_INCL=<directory> and run Make again.  Stop.

trotzdem ich die "kernel-source" installiert habe.

kennt jemand das thema ?

Das liegt daran, dass das installierte Kernelmodul als Paket installiert ist und nur mit einem bestimmten Kernel funktioniert.

Mit
Code: 
modprobe vboxdrv
kannst du es trotzdem in den neuen Kernel laden.

Wenn ich
"modprobe vboxdrv" eingebe, dann kommt folgende Meldung:

Welche Version von Virtualbox benutzt du denn, die OSE (Open Source Edition) oder die Closed-source Version?

das ist SUN xVM VirtualBox 1.6.2
ich denke das ist die closed version (auf der Seite von virtualbox bei -> Binaries (all platforms))
bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher.

Habe daraufhin vbx neu installiert. leider immernoch mit obigem Ergebnis
alledings nun nicht beim Recompiling.....wie vorher...

leider schmeisst Virtualbox dennoch einen Fehler, der aber behebbar sein dürfte...:

The VirtualBox support driver which is running is from a different version of VirtualBox. You can correct this by stopping all running instances of VirtualBox and reinstalling the software..
VBox status code: -1912 (VERR_VM_DRIVER_VERSION_MISMATCH).
