HAMA PCI USB Controller funktioniert nur bedingt

Hi Leute,

ich habe ein Problem. Ich habe meinen PC mit einer PCI Karte von Hama erweitert ( 3+1 USB). Leider liefert die Karte nur Strom. Ein Zugreifen auf die angeschlossenen Geräte ist nicht möglich. (An anderen USB Ports hingegen problemlos).

Merkwürdig ist auch, dass am Stick die ganze Zeit die Lampe blinkt. Sonst blinkt sie nur kurz und leuchtet durchgängig.

Das sieht für mich hardwareseitig völlig i.O. aus :???: Kannst du mal ein USB-Gerät an den Controller stecken und das zeitgleich mittels

loggen? Welche Ausgaben erhältst du vom Kernel? Eventuell auch wieder ein "verstecktes" Rechteproblem.

Das müßte dein USB-Stick sein (2,1 GB) der als /dev/sdf ins System gebunden wird. Also hardwareseitig offensichtlich alles im grünen Bereich. Füge dich mal testweise der Gruppe plugdev in /etc/group hinzu und melde dich an/ab. Ansonsten, mal versucht ein anderes Gerät als den USB-Stick anzuschließen? Vielleicht liegts ja auch an dessen Formatierung.
