HDMI Audo Problem mit Radeon Treiber

Gutentag,

Ich hatte kein Audio über HDMI bei zwei AMD basierte Computer und habe diese Lösung die hier im Forum vorgeschlagen wurde bei einem Computer erfolgreich benutzt:

Aber beim zweiten Computer gibt es diese "audio" Datei gar nicht:

cat /sys/class/drm/card0/device/driver/module/holders/radeon/parameters/audio

Alles nach /sys/class/ fehlt. Ich habe dann eine neue Installation ausgeführt (neuer DVD) und sehe wieder dasselbe. Unter Windows gibt es audio, da ist also nichts kaputt.

Jetzt meine Frage: ist es möglich dass der Hardware so neu ist, dass audio einfach noch nicht unterstützt wird? Vielleicht sehe ich etwas sehr einfaches nicht, denn ich bin kein Experte.
Es handelt sich um ein Medion Computer mit A8-6500 accelerated Prozessor, und AMD Radeon HD 8570D Videokarte. OS ist openSUSE 12.3.

Bei der Grafikkarte sehe ich nichts davon, daß radeon verwendet wird. Also forschen wir weiter:

radeon aus dem Kernel 3.7 von openSUSE 12.3 kennt Deine Grafikkarte noch nicht. Somit dürfte vesa oder fbdev laufen, beide sind alles andere als berauschend.

Der bei mir laufende 3.10 zeigt als Ergebnis des ersten Befehls

an und kennt somit Deine Karte. Also solltest Du den aktuellen 3.11 installieren.

Die Alternative ist der Einsatz von fglrx, wobei ich die aktuelle Beta-Version empfehle (fertiges rpm-Paket: http://geeko.ioda.net/mirror/amd-fglrx-beta/openSUSE_12.3/).
 
Ich habe jetzt folgende Kernel Dateien im System, aber leider noch immer kein Audio:

Kernel sind voneinander unabhängig und stören einander nicht. Im Normalfall reicht aber ein Kernel.

Du hast 2 Soundkarten im System. Ist in YaST die richtige als primäre Karte (Index 0) festgelegt?

Besser gehts nicht. Der Sound für HDMI läuft über Card0 und der Rest über Card1. Wenn du kein HDMI Gerät, z.B. TV am Rechner angeschlossen hast, dann wirds auch keinen Sound über HDMI geben.

welche Soundkarte von Alsa als primäre Soundkarte verwendet wird.
Wenn du KDE in Betrieb hast und Alsa card0 (also HDMI) als primäre Soundkarte verwendet, dann stimmt bei den Phonon Einstellungen möglicherweise etwas noch nicht.
 
In Alsamixer steht unter F6 (select card):

Es gibt unter Windows Audio ueber den Monitor und ich habe da nur einen HDMI Kabel angeschlossen. Ich habe natuerlich kontrolliert ob nichts "muted" ist und das es ueberall Volume auf 100% gibt.

Ich habe das erst jetzt gelesen, aber ich werde alles was ich auf dieser Seite sehe versuchen.

Irgendwo habe ich gelesen, daß entweder der Kernel 3.13 (oder 3.12?) nativen Support für ATI-Radeon bezüglich Sound mitbringt. Ich habe nämlich dasselbe Problem und warte deshalb auch auf den 3.13er Kernel.

Die passenden Geräte für HDMI Audio werden von Pulseaudio erkannt und aufgelistet. Du könntest mal versuchen, ob es evtl. ausreicht, wenn du die bevorzugte Soundkarte änderst.
