keine Verbindung zum Router

Hi

ich benutze erst seid gestern Suse Linux 10.1 und habe kaum erfahrung mit Linux.

Nun versuche ich über WLAN ins Internet zu kommen, jedoch funktioniert es nicht.

Der Stick wurde erkannt und die Treiber sind installiert (Treiber liefen in "Taskmanager", k.a. den Linux-Namen), in YaST kann ich den Stick konfigurieren aber kein Prog kann auf den Stick zufreifen, um eine Verbindung zum Router herzustellen. Des weiteren leuchtet die LED des Sticks überhaupt nicht geschweige denn blinkt, was sie sogar normalerweise macht, wenn der Stick nur an ist und nichts macht (unter Win).


Weitere wichtige Informationen:

- Der Stick ist ein ZyAir B-220; über USB angeschlossen
- Der Chip ist ein ZyDas

4 Fragen:

1. Wer/was sind eth0 und eth1? (ich tippe mal auf 2 eingebaute LAN-Karten, richtig?)

2. Hast Du mit aktivierter eth0 (denn das sieht man aus einem der Screenshots) versucht per WLAN ins Netz zu kommen?

3. (optional) Wenn die Antwort auf 2 "Ja" lauten sollte, dann: Woher soll Dein System dann wissen, über welches Interface der Netzwerkverkehr gehen soll?

4. (ebenfalls optional) Wieso haben eigentlich eth0 und eth1 die SELBE IP-Adresse?

ich habe 2 LAN-Karten im rechner, genau. Momentan gehe ich über eine von beiden (k.a. welche) über meinen laptop, welcher als proxy konfiguriert ist ins internet (über WLAN)

desshalb habe ich beiden LAN-Karten auch die gleiche IP gegeben, etwas schwachsinnig,, gebe ich zu aber das ist jetzt ja nunmal egal.

Ich gehe einfach mal davon aus (wenns anders ist, bitte "NEIN" rufen ;-) ), dass der WLAN-Stick irgendwie nicht richtig eingerichtet ist, da es nirgendwo das Gerät wlan0 gibt, nur eth (also LAN) und lo (loopback oder sowas wie localhost?)

Und woher das system wissen soll, worüber es ins inet soll, habe ich leine ahnung *gg*.


Nebenbei: Die LED des Sticks leuchtet überhaupt nicht -> wie bei Win wenn das Gerät deaktiviert ist.

wenn jemand möchte (und ich ihm auch vertrauen kann, gebe ich eine Remote-verbindung frei (VNC). Dann kann die Person sich selber überlegen, wo das Problem sein könnte. Ich fänds echt nett ;-)

Und ich bin in hoffnung auf besserung auf kubuntu umgestiegen; auch weil dies für mich passender erschien (man muss alles mal ausprobieren); desshalb hab ich mich im ubuntuforum versucht. Ein bisschen weiter bin ich nun schon ;-)

Vielleicht habt ihr noch irgendwelche tipps.
