Postfix; SMTP; qpopper- kann extern keine Mails empfangen?

Der nimmt keine Mails für die Domain ab-net.info von aussen an.
Über die Domain bts-server.de gehts.

Wodran kann das liegen ?

Ich will auch irgendwann mal ohne Confixx zurecht kommen.
Also alles über die Console machen. Dazu brauche ich hintergrundwissen, oder ?

Linux ist dazu da, um nicht mit Oberflächen zu arbeiten, sondern mit der Console !

Habe mir SuSE 9.1 per Neuinstallation aufgespielt.
Bei dieser Version muss ich alles Selbstinstallieren.
Klappt ja auch alles außer der Mail Eingang.

Ich habe alles installiert (Apache u.s.w.) und danach Confixx.
Für's erste mal hat es sehr gut geklappt

also etwas Eigeninitiative solltest du schon aufbringen ... Es steht doch alles da. Für welche Domains soll dein postfix zuständig sein ?

schoener ist es aber, wenn man weitere domains in der virtual anlegt - ist viel uebersichtlicher und flexibler als in der mydestination....

ps: viel glueck bei der klausur!
pps: confixx ist fuer loser! du bist auf dem richtigen weg! ;-)

da gibt es einen interessanten Thread ohne Lösung. Irgendwie will sasl nicht mit mySQL reden....

Das ist das spezielle tim taylor email tuning, die email ist damit
mit ca. warp 9 unterwegs.
Kann man bei vielen mua's einstellen, z.B. bei mutt mit:
my_hdr X-Binford: 6100 (more power)"

Du hast das Konzept von Confixx nicht verstanden.
Naja hab erst mal 100 Kunden drauf und du wirst dir nach einem Tool wie Confixx die Finger lecken weil dann bist Du der Loser weilst das Tool nicht drauf hast.

Denk mal drüber nach und schau über den Tellerrand hinaus und nicht nur Deine Sicht zu betrachten, es gibt viele andere Fälle wo Confixx sehr wohl Sinn macht.

ich hab ein tool in PHP selbst geschrieben fuer postfix/cyrus usw... damit koennen "kunden" ihre mailboxen/aliase etc. selbst verwalten.
ausserdem hat balli keine kunden - daher passt der vergleich nicht so ganz. balli wills verstehen und lernen - das finde ich absolut legitim und super! und was die kunden angeht: diese sind dann anfaenger/loser...
also stimmt meine verallgemeinerung - zu der ich auch weiterhin stehe!

anstatt als dieses confixx in den Himmel zu loben, und uns zuzuschauen wie wir versuchen dem Kollegen zu helfen:

Erklär ihm doch was er wie und wo mit confixx einstellen soll. Wenn es denn dann geht, OK.

Das mit den Konfigdateien können wir ja dann später erledigen.
Ich denke Ziel des Supports sollte zuerst sein etwas zum laufen zu bringen.

Aber deine Beiträge bringen keinen hier so richtig weiter ..

außerdem flame ich nicht. Ich bin nur diese Diskussion confixx oder nicht leid. Ich kenne confixx nicht, also kann ich ihm nur so helfen wie ich es kann, nämlich via Konfig-Files.
