Probleme mit Internetverbindung openSUSE 11.1

Liebe openSUSE Nutzer,

vor ein paar Tagen habe openSUSE 11.1 installiert und bin davon begeistert. Nach Ubuntu und Fedora spürt man bei SUSE noch mehr Qualität und Ingenieurgeist!

Super Installer und Desktopaufbau (Gnome). Nur nach der Systemaktualizierung funktioniert Internet (WLAN) irgend wie komisch. Also ich kann z.B. google.de öffnen aber web.de u.ä. nicht. Skype funktioniert super aber Packet Manager kann keine Verbindung aufbauen. Ich habe davor versucht Mozilla zu tünen aber daran soll es wahrscheinlich nicht liegen.

Hat einer vielleicht ein Tipp für mich? Vielen Dank voraus!

Da würde ich mal zunächst im yast IPv6 systemweit abschalten! Anschließend solltest Du Deine MTU mal überprüfen und ggf. einstellen.

Vielen Dank! Ich habe mit YaST>>>Netzwerkeinstellungen IPv6 abgeschaltet, neu gestartet, jetzt funktioniert Internet normal... nur etwas langsam. Dass mit dem MTU habe ich leider nicht verstanden. Wo finde ich diese Einstellungen? Danke!

Habe folgendes über MTU gefunden:

YaST2 - Netzwerkgeräte - Netzwerkkarte - ändern - Karte auswählen - Erweitert - Besondere Einstellungen - MTU

Leider habe ich keine Netzwerkkarte unter Netzwerkgeräte irgend wie...

Nein das wünschen wir Dir nicht aber dort soll eine eingetragen sein, meistens eine WLAN und eine Ethernet Karte. Ich glaube Du sollst das Script ausführen und die txt Datei hier posten. Vielen Dank für den Tipp mit collectNWData.sh! Hätte selbst nie darauf gekommen.

Das Script hat einen Fehler entdeckt. Diesen zu beheben geht es mit YaST über Netzwerkgeräte -> Netzwerkkarte -> Netzwerkkarte wählen -> alle Konfigurationsdaten löschen... aber in meinem verkrüppelten YaST gibt es irgend wie keine Netzwerkkarte. Ehrlich! Screenshot anbei. Danke schön voraus für weitere Tipps!

Ich habe leider noch ein Problem. Gnome ist zwar Super-Desktop, auf meinem Laptop funktioniert der aber etwas langsam. Also Xfce ist die Lösung. Habe alles was dazu gehört (alle xfce4-Pakete die ich gefunden habe) installiert... Super-Desktop! Leider gibt es keine WLAN-Verbindung. Die Icon zeigt komischer Weise dass die Verbindung herforragend funktioniert, aber die Saiten öffnen sich nicht und kein Messenger kann Vebindung aufbauen. :schockiert:

Oder hast du dies schon installiert und es funktioniert nicht?
