Hallo,
Ich habe open suse 11.0 auf meinem Rechner und ein problem mit meiner webcam. Das ding funzt einwandfrei schaltet sich aber nicht ab. selbst wenn ich den rechner herunterfahre, werd ich von der led angeleuchtet. habe schon im internet gestöbert aber nichts dazu finden können.
hat jemand hier vielleicht eine Idee dazu?

Das passiert, wenn der falsche oder kein Treiber installiert sei.
Was sagt "lsusb"(Textkonsole) zu deiner Webcam?
Ist schon Webcam-Software-Repository im Yast zugeschaltet?

sollte sie problemlos laufen, wahrscheinlich mit dem:
gspcav1-kmp-default-20071224_2.6.25.5_1.1-10.4.i586.rpm
(je nach Linux-Kernel-Version) -Treiber.

danke,
genau den habe ich und die seite hatte ich auch schon mal offen und durchgelesen. wie schon erwähnt die cam funzt aber halt ohne sich jemals abzuschalten.
vielleicht kann man da noch irgendwas mit den einstellungen beim treiber machen?

Ist im BIOS zufällig 'PowerOn by keyboard' oder sowas aktiv?
Dann werden u. U. die USB-Ports nicht abgeschaltet.

hi,
es ist aber nur die webcam die nicht abschaltet alle anderen USB-geräte schalten ab. unter meiner winxp partition schaltet sie auch ab. im bios sind alle energie-geschichten auf deaktiviert.
