und bei "telnet 127.0.0.1 25" kommt genau das selbe.

von da an muss ich die Konsole neu starten da er dort dann keine befehle mehr annimmt. Ctrl + C geht auch nicht

telnet kann mit der ESCAPE-Sequenz beendet werden.

na dann bist du doch mit dem Server verbunden ;)
nur dein Server liefert keinen Prompt:

hab ich alles schon versucht. passiert nix. komm da nicht mehr raus.
den banner hab ich ja belegt.

dann läuft IRGENDEIN Prozess auf deiner Kiste welche den Port 25 belegt

postfix stop
netstat -lntp (da darf NIRGENDS etwas mit Port 25 rauskommen)


postfix start
und dann nochmal
telnet localhost 25

inet_interfaces= ??? was steht da in der main.cf

ansonsten poste mal

soweit ich das erkennen kann läuft da nix auf port 25.
nach dem start postfix hab ichs nochmal probiert. geht immernoch nicht.

Als nächstes muss die Datenbank angelegt werden, die die Benutzernamen und Passwörter für die Anmeldung enthält. Dazu eine Datei /etc/postfix/sasl/sasl_passwd neu anlegen:

    Das zum Benutzernamen passende Passwort

Damit niemand unbefugtes Zugriff auf die Benutzernamen und Passworter hat, müssen die Rechte an der Datei entsprechend eingestellt werden (Postfix kann sie als root lesen):

# chown root.root /etc/postfix/sasl/sasl_passwd
# chmod 600 /etc/postfix/sasl/sasl_passwd

Anschließend muss aus der Datei /etc/postfix/sasl/sasl_passwd eine Datenbank generiert werden:

Nun kann in /etc/postfix/main.cf SMTP-Auth eingeschaltet werden, indem das # vor folgenden Einträgen entfernt wird:

probiere das mal mit einem lokalen Empfänger aus

WICHTIG: konsole öffnen und tail -f /var/log/mail
und in einer zweiten Konsole tail -f /var/log/messages

dann sieht man was passiert

wenn du mit telnet eine mail in deinen postfix fütterst kannst du emails nach draussen und lokal verschicken.

Ziel des eMail-servers ist doch auch lokaler mailverkehr (Franz an Paul, Franz an Freund@internet.de ...)

wenn du mit lokaler empfängeradresse testest siehst du doch auch sofort ob die im cyrus landen und kannst die da mit deinem email-client abholen.

Jetzt hast du den postfix teil konfiguriert.
jetzt kommt cyrus und die Verbindung postfix-cyrus dran.

d.h. user Konten einrichten mit cyradm,
und in der postfix-Konfiguration die cyrus-relevanten Einträge reinschreiben, bzw aktivieren.

danach musst du nur noch fetchmail einrichten und FERTIG ;)

dann lies mal jetzt in der Doku weiter, wie postfix und cyrus verbunden werden. OK ?

Der tiefere Sinn von cyrus ist doch gerade: nicht jeder Postfachbesitzer braucht einen LINUX-System-Accoutn auf dem Server. Er muss nur dem cyrus-Server in der sasldb bekannt gemacht werden.

eMail-Clent --> sendet legitimation an cyrus -> cyrus prüft gegen sasldb -> Zugriff erlaubt/verboten -> mail lesen -> freuen

mail beantworten -> postfix -> falls Empfänger remote -> anmelden bei t-online -> weg schicken

bzw.

falls Empfänger lokal -> postfix -> cyrus -> email-Client
