SuSE8.0 + DSL-Router +Netzwerkarteeirichten???

rafael25

Newbie
Netzwerkverbindung herstellen.?
Habe folgende einstellungen vorgenommen.
DSL-Router hat die IP-Adresse: 192.168.1.1
Habe die Netzwerkarten so eingestellt:
IP-Adresse:pC: 192.168.1.2, Laptop: 192.168.1.3 (jewals eth0)
Namenserver (t-online): 194.25.129
Standartgateway: 192.168.1.1

Habe folgende sachen getestet:

t-online hat 194.25.2.129
Deine Netzwekkarte ist nicht richtig eingerichtet. Der Treiber wird nicht geladen. Welche Karte ist es?
Sonnst scheint alles i.O.

hi

habe ifconfig eth0 up 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 gemacht, leider hat es nicht geklappt.
eth0: unknown interface ; no such device

Was sagt
Code:
lsmod

hallo habe folgendes versucht
  • linux:~ # lsmod
Module Size Used by Not tainted
    ipv6 123424 -1 (autoclean)
    isa-pnp 27816 0 (unused)
    reiserfs 158816 1

    linux:~ # ifconfig eth0 up
eth0: unknown interface: No such device

  • linux:/lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/net # modinfo sis900.o
    filename: sis900.o
description: "SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet driver"
author: "Jim Huang <cmhuang@sis.com.tw>, Ollie Lho <ollie@sis.com.tw>"
    license: "GPL"
parm: multicast_filter_limit int, description "SiS 900/7016 maximum number of filtered multicast addresses"
parm: max_interrupt_work int, description "SiS 900/7016 maximum events handled per interrupt"
parm: debug int, description "SiS 900/7016 debug level (2-4)"
Die Datei modulo.conf hat folgende Einträge

  • # Aliases - specify your hardware
    alias eth0 sis900
    alias eth1 off
    alias tr0 off
    alias scsi_hostadapter off
    alias fb0 off

Code:
man insmod
eigentlich nicht so schwer sein.

dmsg
kein Eintrag über eth0 gefunden nur
  • sis900.c: v108.02. 11/30/2001

Code:
modprobe sis900.o
modprobe: Can't locate module sis900.o

insmod sis900.o

Code:
insmod:sis900.o: No such file or directory.

  • linux:/lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/net # modinfo sis900.o
    filename: sis900.o
description: "SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet driver"
author: "Jim Huang <cmhuang@sis.com.tw>, Ollie Lho <ollie@sis.com.tw>"
    license: "GPL"
parm: multicast_filter_limit int, description "SiS 900/7016 maximum number of filtered multicast addresses"
parm: max_interrupt_work int, description "SiS 900/7016 maximum events handled per interrupt"
parm: debug int, description "SiS 900/7016 debug level (2-4)"
  • eth0 falied

Die Datei modulo.conf hat auch:
  • # Aliases - specify your hardware
    alias eth0 sis900
    alias eth1 off
    alias tr0 off
    alias scsi_hostadapter off
    alias fb0 off

Ja, was passiert, wenn du "insmod sis900" absetzt.
Using /lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/net/sis900.o
/lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/net/sis900.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
