w-Lan treiber für Realtek RTL8178b

hallo Community,

bei meinem toshiba Satellite Laptop (genaue bezeichnung kann bei Bedarf nachgereicht werden) funktioniert das W-Lan Modul unter Opensuse 11.4 nicht.

ich habe das W-Lan Modul unter Win 7 ausgelesen, es handelt sich um ein: Realtek RTL8178b.

Funktioniert diese W-Lan modul unter Linux?
Wenn ja, welchen Treiber muss für Opensuse 11.4 installieren. (Gibt es den in den Opensuse repos?)

Vielen dank im Voraus.

Wenn du jetzt den Rest vom Fest noch lieferst kann man ggf. was genaueres dazu sagen.

Hallo,

ich muss das Thema leider wieder aufgreifen.. Bin immer noch nicht weiter gekommen, das Skript funktioniert bzw. finde ich rgendwie nicht mehr..

Vorallem einen "zd1211" W-Lan Stick (USB) Anschluss bekomme ich ebenfalls nicht zum laufen... (Hat früher mal bei Linux 9 oder so problemlos funktioniert)

Wie bekomme ich den Informationen über mein W-Lan Modul?

(Oder vielleicht sogar nur über mein Laptop)

Leider helfen mir die Infos nicht wirklich weiter.

Weder über networkmanager noch über die Traditionelle Methode mit YAST (iup oder os) bekomme ich die Dinger zum Laufen.

Kann wer helfen?

das gibt collectNWData nun aus..
wich weis ja noch nicht mal welche Netzwerktopologie ich auswählen soll bzw. welche SSID?

(Sollte je eigentlich auch egal sein, erstmal müssen die W-Lan-Geräte funktionieren. Dann kann ich nach verfürbaren Netzzwerken suchen...

da Script hast du aber ausgeführt, als du verbunden warst mit Kabel, oder? Kannst du das Script nochmals ausführen, wenn du nicht mit dem Kabel verbunden bist?

Da bei dir noch eine weitere WLan Karte gesteckt ist, würde ich diese erst einmal entfernen um nicht zu viel irritierende Angaben zu bekommen,.... Sprich eins nach dem anderen,...

Eine WLAN Karte scheint wohl auch noch hardwaremäßig ausgeschalten zu sein,....

korrekt bisher war mein Handy meine WLan-Verbindung (funktioniert genial einfach Handy mit dem Kabel über USB anschließen; Tethering anhaken und los gehts)

Hab ich nun aber ausgeschalten und das Skript erneut ausgeführ.
Den ZD1211-WLan-Stick habe ich hier abgezogen gehabt.

(Ist das integrierte WLan-Modul Hard-. bzw. Softwaremäßig deaktiviert ?! (Mit der Tastenkombination kann ich es aber nicht aktivieren. Die LED leuchtet auch nicht)

Das W-Lan Modul lässt sich jedoch nicht an-/ aus/ um-schalten. Die Funktionstaste ändert offensichtlich nichts..
