Wireless Lan auf HP Compaq nx6110

Hallo liebe User,

ich bin fast blutiger Anfänger und habe mich nun auch mal dem Thema Linux (Suse 11) gewidmet und bin bis jetzt ganz begeistert...
Übersichtlicher wie ich dachte, die Installation geht recht schnell und die Geräte bis auf Wlan passen auch schon.

Leider kriege ich mit der integrierten Netzwerkkarte keinen Connect über Wlan.
Kabel funktioniert sauber.

Folgende Angaben:

Hewlett Packard nx6110
Wlan-Netzwerkkarte wird als BMC4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller erkannt.

Das Gerät wird bei Systemstart aktiviert, erhält eine von meiner Fritz!Box über DHCP zugewiesene IP-Adresse.
Eine feste IP hat leider auch nicht funktioniert.
Die SSID habe ich richtig eingetragen.

Sicherheitstechnisch habe ich momentan nur den Mac-Adressenfilter aktiviert (Wlan Karte des Notebooks ist in der Liste eingetragen und bekommt connect über Windows, nur Linux nicht.)

Kann mir jemand helfen?

Für eure Antworten bedanke ich mich im voraus.

Da fehlt die Firmware.

sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware

ausfuehren. Davor die Kiste per Netzwerkkabel ins Netz bringen.

Ich habe es nun so gemacht, wie Du gesagt hast.
Installation war erfolgreich, nach erneutem Starten des Scripts erhalte ich immernoch eine Fehlermeldung.

In der Netzwerkkarten-Einrichtung habe ich keinerlei Einträge mehr drinnen!

Firewall-Zone= Automatisch zugewiesene Zone
Gerätekontrolle= Aktiviere Geräte-Kontrolle für nicht-root Nutzer uber KInternet (ist aktiviert)

sonst nichts geändert oder aktiviert

Hardware:
nichts verändert, wurde alles vom System vorgegeben.

Einstellungen für Funkgeräte:

Netzwerkname (ESSID) = leer (nichts eingetragen)
Authentifizierungsmodus= keine Verschlüsselung


Sonst habe ich keine Einstellungen vorgenommen.

Habe mich nun als root eingeloggt und alle Dateien, außer ifcfg-lo gelöscht und den Rechner neu gestartet.

Über yast wird mir die Wlan Karte nun als nicht konfiguriert angezeigt, was muss ich nun tun?

LED leuchtet immernoch, was ganz am Anfang nicht ging, Wlan funktioniert aber immernoch nicht.


Ich habe das "collect" Script nochmals ausgeführt, evtl. hilft es ja.

Da ist immer noch irgendwas 'krumm':

- !!! CND0240E: Knetworkmanager wird für die Netzwerkkonfiguration benutzt aber die Netzwerkkartenkonfiguration für eth0 existiert

Und eines der Frontends solltest du für den NetworkManager auch starten:

- wpa_supplicant:YES knetworkmanager:NO nm-applet:NO

Und denn absolut sinnfreien MAC-Filter auch mal ausmachen. Im Jahre 2008 nimmt man WPA(2) her um sein Netzwerk abzusichern.
