Wenn Dein AP die ESSID nicht versteckt und trotzdem mit 'iwlist scanning' nichts gefunden wird liegt das ziemlich sicher an der HW bzw dem Treiber. Kann auch sein, dass es bei dem 64 Bit Kernel bzw dem Treiber Probleme gibt.

Sorry - ich bin da jetzt auch mit meinem Latein am Ende :igitt:

Ich habe nun auf anraten von Hans-Peter ein 32-bit System installiert.
Leider hat sich dadurch meine "wlan0-Situation" nicht geändert !

Nun gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten:

- meine Wlankarte ist defekt
- der Treiber ath9k ist nicht für diese Konfiguration geeignet

Für weitere Infos bzw. Hilfestellungen bin ich dankbar.
