Hello there,
I hope to not disturb your work too much, hopefully with the following question:
Is it possible to control:
-Bass
-Volume
-Treble
With: 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 02)
... Family like cards?
For: All applications from a Mixer GUI like Kmix? If not, are there any outstanding plans for this
to be implemented?
I started a topic in the Linux Club forum http://www.linux-club.de ; With the question about: "If
they know if this is possible with any mixer GUI." And for some people this would be quite something
like a feature which they would also like to have.
But noone seems to know a mixer supporting this. Or we guess it is depending on the hardware. Or
depending on ALSA implementation. I tried several different, too. Can you give any hint or.
Implement this, please?
The reason why i personally would love to have this as a feature is, that my Dolby 5.1 system which
is directly connected to the Soundcard is relatively intensive.
So i can tune down the physical potentiometer for volume at the subwoofer to 0. But i am still
getting really intensive sound via the sattelite speakers.
I would love to be able to just tune the overall base down some. And maybe to increase the heights a
little by my personal preference. It is beacause my Linux box is also my television. And my
neigbours are becoming a little... lets say they might feel disturbed by flying helicopters in a
while.
I think that i read in a docu that i can control LFE and Base together. But thats on the exigency of
having to decrease the volume for 3 speakers?
So a seperate control for bass volume and treble would be just the best.
Also i wanted to thank all you developers for providing a very good and stable soundsystem.
Many thanks for your time and attention, i am looking forward in hearing from you soon!
Greetings,
Revealed.
