Suspend to Ram Suse 10.3 Medion Notebook

Hallo, ihr Lieben Linux User.
Bin noch ziemlich neu hier, deshalb weiss ich nicht, ob hier mit dem Thema so ganz richtig bin.

Habe ein älteres Medion Laptop Centrino 1,4 Ghz, 512mb Ram

Suse 10.3 läuft deutlich schneller, klasse. Auch Suspend to Disk wird unterstützt.
Der Lüfter läuft zwar immer noch nach einiger Zeit ziemlich laut, doch es ist schon
angenehmer als bei 10.2.
Also (fast) steht der Funktionalität gegenüber dem mitgelierten XP nichts mehr im Wege

Frage: Leider klappt, das Standby, also Suspend to Ram nur aus der Konsole heraus mit
dem Befehl als root, also: su
[passwort].
echo mem > /sys/power/state

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, es per Mausklick zu aktivieren?
Gibt es sonst eine Alternative mit einer bash-datei, ähnlich einer batch-Datei in DOS

Ich bitte um eine möglichst einfache Lösung, da ich Anfänger bin.

Leider geht es über KPowersave beim KDE-Desktop nicht.

Gibt es eine Lösung, wie ich den Standby Mode per einfachen Mausklick benutzen kann?
