Xfce Standby Probleme

Hallo,

ich habe mein ältestes Laptop aus Tumblewheed umgestellt. Da es unter KDE sofort einfriert nutze ich jetzt Xfce. Ich habe folgendes Problem unter Xfce. Wenn ich den Deckel herunter klappe passiert gar nichts.

Wenn ich "systemctl suspend" im Terminal eingebe, geht zwar der Bildschirm aus, die CPU fängt an aber auf hochtouren zu laufen. Ein Aufwecken ist nicht möglich. Erst doch ein hardreset ist ein beenden möglich.

Ich hatte vorher auch schon das Problem und hatte xfce4-screensaver mit zypper installiert. Dies hatte mir die KI von Duckduckgo vorgeschlagen.

Vorher kam nämlich als Fehler

 xfce failed to lock the screen

bevor ich xfce-screensaver installiert hatte, konnte ich mit "systemctl suspend" das Laptop in den Standby bekommen.


Wer kann mir weiterhelfen?

Ich weiß auch nicht wo ich die diese Logmeldung finde:

~/.xsession-errors

um Fehlermeldungen posten zu können.

Ich kann es beim Anmeldebildschirm aber nicht sehen, da steht es nichts, wenn ich die Session starte.
